Hey Spyder, have you thought of linking the forum to the main site? It get's slightly annoying, having to keep two windows open, or re-typing the URL whenever I want to go between pages. I'm pretty sure Invision boards allow you to edit the header with HTML, so why don't you think about it?

Spyder is not here at the moment (as far as I know... he's off to some GDP festival or smth).

And joining forums and site is crap, and is an idea spawned by Vampz. Period.

Also, what's the freaking point?

All hail laziness!

Wait... Vampz started that idea? Eek. I retract my suggestion.

Whats the point really?  The forums are more active than the site.  It takes like days or even months for an update while the forums, you might get instant radification.

I wouldn't say the site isn't being used though. Obviously activity on the forums is more easily noticed, but people are using the site quite a bit as well, it's just that the only changes appear when someone actually submits something, which is rare. A lot of submissions that do come in are deleted because of poor quality though.

It's far easier to get games you want from the site, even though it's rarely updated, and it looks far better (more organised) as well.

It is? Hmm. Maybe I should have put my name to it considering 90% of professional sites have the forums integrated into the site in some way - could have made a bit of money.

I guess I am slowly taking over the world... Wink

No, Dude Man.

RPGToolkit.com had conventional frames.

The DA site has IFrames, or floating frames.

Ah I see. Yeah, I never used the RPGToolkit.com one. I joined MS like in early 2003 and then left a month after and then returned and did more stuff!

I think he was refering to the threaded style, not the frames.

Long live threaded forums!  (That was a fun war a year ago, huh?  Heh...)  I have the last remaining threaded board on the entire 'net, don't I?
