Well, the only ones I've ever used were RPG Maker, and RPG Tookit. lol
But out of the two, Toolkit is better. Very Happy

There's also SPHERE, which is REALLY good, if you know your stuff. Everything is custom-made.

RPG Toolkit

Why, because Toolkit is great.

You forgot Quest Creator, but that one sucks, badly...

I've tried every RPG Maker (in depth) making small demos for myself, and I'd have to say

Fury^2 is the most powerful
(that does not sacrifice user friendliness, uses VBScript as it's language)
<a href='http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?showforum=24' target='_blank'>Link</a>

Verge 3 is the most powerful
(that sacrifices easiness, uses VC# as it's language)
<a href='http://www.verge-rpg.com/' target='_blank'>Link</a>

Ika is very powerful
(but still has some bugs, and uses Python as it's language)
<a href='http://ika.sf.net/' target='_blank'>Link</a>

Sphere is very powerful
(but the editor really sucks, uses Javascript as it's language)
<a href='http://sphere.sf.net/' target='_blank'>Link</a>

RPG Toolkit is very powerful
(very buggy and sluggishness but has the best community)
<a href='http://www.toolkizone.com/' target='_blank'>Link</a>

RPG Maker is not powerful
(but you can make a game very easily so rather than focusing on features/graphics/music you can focus on the story more)
No URL (illegal pirated software)

OHRRPGCE is good
(but it has all of the DOS limitations like 256 colors, and midi music and has a really nice community as well)

ohh, thanks matt72186. But what ic your conclusion, which one should I choose.

And by the way, can I use the information about all the game makers on my site. I will write your name there so they know you wrote it?

Well I say it matters what you're looking for.  I personally think Fury^2 is the most capable, it can make the best game.
