Yay!  My years of waiting finally come to fruition... well I guess my years of waiting don't even compare to your years of hard work but still I'm happy.  Although I'd be happier if the demo wasn't downloading so slowly... seems like I rarely actually get to use the speed of my cable modem... in any case heres to hoping my socks get knocked off and I find my self uncontrollably sending money for the full version!

Damn. The game looks simply magnificent. The card game, the sounds, the graphics... Too bad the good old fractional error strikes my computer and most of text is missing, skill system is devastated, and - ha ha ha - all enemies deal only 1 damage except with some spells! I'm pretty immortal Smile

I had to remove delays from battle system and menu to be able to play somehow more normally. Sad Still, after some using, skill points now refuse to be added (you lose a point, and skill doesn't increase), strange, since first it worked pretty well.

Xorlak, why didn't you upload Dark Age 2 onto your Mystic Software account? Not sure why you needed a Cyweb account...

'cause MS only gives you 10 megs, and the SMALLER demo is about 17 megs...

Personally, i think he should apply to illusionfxnet.com and transfer his site AND demos to their server

Does anyone (with windows XP) know how to fix that damn error in running toolkit? Id LOVE to play DA2 but my computer is too slow. My moms computer can run it as smooth as slik. I was gonna create my game on he computer, but I cant test out any programs and stuff. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me. Smile

Try the "delay fix" in the customize menu.  As for the other decimal errors, I have some ideas... (I remember some places where I put ".1" in multiplication instead of "0.1")  Remind me after I get the game back up and I'll see what I can do.

(In case anyone is wondering, Cesque's computer gives errors when decimals are passed to RPG Code functions.  If anyone else has these problems, let me know.)

The Dark Age 2 half of the site and the demos (on cyhw) are down.  I'm going to move that part of the site to my MS account tonight.  The demos will be back up on a different server tomorrow (I can't upload them with my modem connection right now.)

Hmm... I'm not sure what you're talking about.  Could you explain the problem in more detail?

it does this:
A run time error has occured. Code: 372 Description: Failed to load control "MMControl" from mci32.ocx. Your version may be outdated.

ANd no it doesnt work with anything, even when im trying to load my demo up. basically danthetimids problem

Too bad it's no matter it's 0.1, .1, 0,1 or something like that... It seems that any symbol beside 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 is not treated as number... Sad

But anyway... The game is magnicent, really. There are tons of cool things, like the card game etc... Ha. Even if MY game will be brang up in ~2030, it won't be a match for Dark Age 2 Smile

Well, i've just been playing DA2, and I must say i'm very impressed. I've yet to uncover any bugs (though it runs pretty slowly on my comp  <_< ), however, it is VERY hard   Very Happy

I fixed the problem with the computer. Maybe Ill be able to get some screenshots of my game (C.A.R.D) by sunday. If not sunday, next week sometime.

erm... Xorlak,

Great Game!! but I found a small problem. It might just be because my computer likes being (Editor: Censored) - ass, but when using a crystal, it brings up the load menu. not  the save. Or did I read the description wrong?

It's a TK problem. It always says "Open" on the button. It will still save your game, trust me. It happens to me all the time.

Yeah, I'll do that.  Right now it seems the game won't run unless TK2 is installed, though.  I want to see if I can get around that first before advertising it outside this community.
