Post by: TK Game Boy on February 03, 2005, 05:31:42 PM
Oi. Look at the profile for "100 Guns". Someone put 10/10 for everything and that game doesn't deserve a 10/10. No just my opinion but...well just look at the game.

Oi. Someone is abusing the system here.

Hmmm...I don't remember ever doing this, but I will a sure that
me and Vladeamir will both find out who did this,
and will have the admins send him a warning...
Hmmm...Wait a sec, could TMFE be doing this?

That does lend itself to certain abuses....

By those with no maturity, specifically. Razz

Technically, it's not an abuse.  Everyone's entitled to their own "opinion".  The best thing to do would be to play it and give your own opinion.

(Voters should also note that we record your IP addresses.)

I demand I know who messed up the review system for my game,
so I can sue them! Even if it's one of my friends, I'll still sue them!

Well, I'll protect, the young ones. *loads up combat shotgun*

To be honest, not that I'm pointing any fingers. But I noticed DMM is denying to much...a little TO much.

Deny that he did it without being accused

Denying it again, beliveing he was being accused, with no hints that #8 was refering to him....

Now it's okay if you did it DMM. It's no bigge. Heck, I'll admit, I once did it myself, with The Black Walkway 2.

I mean....No I didn't....*get's dog piled and beaten to a pulp*

Now, that's just as bad!  Why don't you people just play the game and give it your own ratings?  The legitimate ratings will wash out the illegitimate one.  That's the whole point of letting everyone vote.  (Heh...)

Post by: Aminaga on February 05, 2005, 12:00:42 PM
Xorlak, reduce the ratings of 100 Guns back to Unrated!

If you voted for this game, vote agian ONLY when Xorlak has reduced them
back to Unrated...

Propably we're talking about different mathematical method, but it seems for me that it's not possible, and the scale of it depends on amount of "illegitimate" reviews the author did.

Sadly, once started, the machine goes on - Dude Man's reducing of all stats to 5 and the incredible amount of votings this way already will keep the outcome close to 5 if we're talking about arithmetical ??? (what's the name for the thing I'm talking about?), so it will take lots of future legitimate voting to be objective.

But I still think he did good thing Wink Without him doing it, it would have been similar, or worse.

What the heck am I talking about anyway...?

Bah, you know what. I don't think we should worry so much, it's not such a big deal. Unless they start doing it on all the games.

I admit to giving 100 guns, a 10 out of 10 multiple amounts of time!

What are you going to do about it?  ^_^

PS: I didnt really.

(But it's about damn time somebody admit to it... even though it wasn't the right person)

Arithmetical mean?

The arithemtical mean of 2 and 4 is 3, because 2+4/2=3?

Oh, come on, MEAN? How could you english speakers call that thing so funny?

2+4/2 is actually 4 according to the order of operations.

The only thing that would be unusual about the Dark Age series is that there ratings are low. And they aren't, so...
