Has anyone here read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

Well, if you read it, then you find out that the meaning of life, the universe, and everything is forty-two. Now, what's really funny, is that if u use the calculator provided by google, and search for the meaning of life, the universe, and everything, it WILL come up with 42!

try it!

Very Happy

How do you get 42? There's no math involved...

lol, the computer (Deep Thought) that came up with this answer says that the real problem is that no one actually knew the real QUESTION.

Later, you find that the question to this answer is "What do you get when you multiply six times nine?"

Obviously, 6*9=54, so this means that the universe works in ways that the mind doesn't comprehend.

"But the plans were on display..."

"On display! I eventually had to look in the cellar!"

"That's the display department..."

"It was dark!"

"The lights had probably gone..."

"So had the stairs!"

"But you did find them didn't you?"

"Oh, yes I found them! They were in a locked filing cabinet in a lavatory with a sign on it saying: Beware os the Lepeord!"

*Note: This was from memory so do not blame me for innacuracies... lol.

Of course it's the best book ever.

Such a pity though....why did he have to die while writing the screenplay for the movie......
