Anyone that's seen some of the latest games that have come out for the TK have probably been pretty damn amazed at some of the stuff people have accomplished in the last year. Games like DA2, Heraldry:Freija, and TK Land look simply amazing.

RDemusX's game "Mansions of the Moon" was released just this week, and even though it's a mere 2 boards, with absolutely nothing to do on them, it's a must to download regardless. After installing MotM, and getting past the title screen, just the first board alone caught my attention. The board loaded up, and right off the bat the character was in an idle animation. Unfortunately right now the idle animation in MotM only works if your facing south, but I'm sure RDemus will change that in the future. It'd also be nice if the animation wasn't the character walking in place, but would be better if the character was looking around or something. Anyways, that aside, once I started walking around, I was blown away. I could not tell this was the Toolkit other than the fact that I had already known.  The graphics are absolutely amazing. The use of TK3's canvas system is noticable right off the bat when you walk under the trees, and the best part was, not even 1% of slowdown. Granted, my computer's not the slowest computer in the world, but it's by no means the fastest either. It was reportedly getting ~93fps average, and held there without barely moving a fraction of a percent. The menu system is also extremely well done, and unlike any menu system I've ever seen in a TK game.

Anyways, I seriously recommend checking this game out, even if you don't normally play TK games. It's incredibly short, since there are only two boards, but just fun to see how far the TK has come since we used 2.x

Thank you Spyder and the rest of you for all your support. I will be uploading the Full Graphical Demo either the end of this week ... or the next.

The TK sure has surpassed anything I could ever imagine ... and now when I sit down to do something ... it isn't such a chore ... (apart from the 3D FMV's)

I just wanted to say thank you and thanx for all the support.

I dled it, it cool.  ONe suggestion, increase the gamespeed.  it ws darn slow.

also make the music start after the title screen loads up.

Thank you for making something with canvasses, no one would explain it to me.  Now i will understand.  The menus are as good as done!!

That was the whole purpose of this DL was to see how fast/slow it ran on different machines.

What are your computer specs.

I left the game speed on regular.

I have a 755mhz with 64MB RAM and it ran fine on it.
I also have a 1.6 GHZ 384MB RAM and of course it runs smooth on it.

I will just make an option that lets you set your speed then.

That way people with a slower configuration might be able to speed it up a bit.

Thanx

Hmm ... Maybe the 600 mhz is dampering it a bit. In the next release I will definitley make a way for the user to increase/decrease the speed.

Thanx

Looks good. Menus work a bit slow, but they look good too. But the character has ugly hat.

A friend bought it and didn't want to take the time to learn it ... so he just gave it to me.

We own a recording studio together as well
