If I were running a message board, and someone pulled that off, I woulda banned them in order to help them carry out their aim. Seriously, the 'leaving the community' gags aren't the best to pull off on messgae boards, and will probably get you labeled as an 'attention seeker,' which is definitely a label not worth having.
