The Dev team has released version 3.06 of the TK, which is a Bug Fix Only release. Check out the MS homepage or TKZ for more details.

Nice. So does anyone know if the Win98 bug was fixed on accident?

It may work better for people using sprites at 100% made out of tiles. Tiled sprites at not actual size probably still won't work. (But other formats will.) Then some people will notice no difference.

It's not truly fixed.

Ah. I thought the bug prevented Win98 users from using the TK3 at all. That's good to here though.

NO i cant use tiles ATALL for sprites
It shows as transparent completly, and I have to have th gfx set to 16 bit in the main file editor.  the sprites have to be pictures or ani's of pictures, not tilesets.

that is the only way for ti to work; found out with 3.0.5.

the only difference so far is that it runs slower than 05 and the menu keys actually work

which is still awesome!!

*cries in the corner*
I still can't use it

But it became stranger...
It still locks up whenever I test a game or program within the Toolkit.  But strangely, when I ran Trans3 and selected main file to test a game manually, it worked.  A few times.  Then it started locking up that way too.  Curiouser and curiouser.

But I'm really doubting that this is in any reasonable way the fault of the program.
I think I'm just gonna RAR all my files off of that damn machine and reformat the flippin' thing
