Post by: Mark of the Dragon on April 08, 2005, 04:14:10 PM
Dudes, this morning, all my DVDs were on the rack, organized by genre and then alphabetically. When I got home today, half of my dvds were gone, as well as some of my VHS tapes. I checked around, and my other stuff is still here...but the dvds were taken. This doesn't make sense to me!

It apparently made some to the thieves.

Anyway, it sometimes happens. Make sure the DVDs are stolen, though - it may be some family member borrowing them.

I'm the last one to leave the house, and the first one back. Of course nobody borrowed them.

Probally some punk stealing some DVDs that he wants, or he's going to go sell them or something. That's the best guess. Sorry to hear about that, man.

On another more cursory examination, my mom and I have realized that almost all of her jewelry is gone, as well as her digital camera. Mine's still here, but still...

We had the police check it out. They think it was a kid who slipped the lock with a credit card.

I'm probably going to be in 1North for a while (it's the psychiatric ward at howard general hospital)...

My mom caught me cutting myself again...this time in the area around my right eye...as punishment for being blind to the truth...

Just letting you guys know just in case I can't get online for a while.

Duh... don't remind me.

Last time I cut a cross on my forehead my cousin was calling me "crusader" for a week...

It looks better than some regular shapeless scar, though. Unfortunately, knives can't really cut any interesting shapes.

Really? That easy? Seriously...you need that looking into. Most main entry doors in this modern crime world have a second lock that locks from the inside with a key...meaning it can't simply be opened by forcing it or breaking the glass and opening from the inside.

I was burgled three times in 2 years about 10 years ago and since we made such simple changes to front and back door, never had issues since.

But anyway, sucks about being burgled...sorry man.

It's a bit foolish to not do anything about your security expecting it not to happen again. Once they got in once, they know how to do it every other time. There's next to nothing police can do if they can't get fingerprints or witnesses.

If I were the burglers, I'd go back for more soon. Easy targets are easy targets thanks to niave home owners. Sounds harsh, but you make your own luck in these situations.

Well, just to let you know where I stand...they left behind almost all of my PS2 and PS1 games and a handful of Anime DVDs...so I sold them and bought a used Nintendo DS and Super Mario DS. I can only imagine how much I'll be kicking my own ass if I get my PS2 back, lol.

And yeah, send me the tape of you beating yourself up, me and the lesbian penguins could watch it together.

Not taping that, sorry.

And yeah, I know...now I just need to wait for Square to release a Final Fantasy title on the DS. Until then, I'm stuck with Super Mario 64 DS and whatever GBA RPGs exist now.

Post by: Spyder on April 22, 2005, 08:53:17 AM
They should be releasing FFIII fairly soon, and FF: Crystal Chronicles is in the works for the DS as well. As for GBA RPG's, you can always check out FF: Dawn of Souls (aka FF 1+2), and of couse, LOZ: LTTP. Smile

I beat LTTP on the SNES several times. Great game, it is Very Happy

FF Dawn of Souls... I had the PS1 release (Origins), but yeah, I'll def. buy it. Currently I have Lunar Legend for the GBA, which is a remake of Lunar: Silver Star Story with a lesser battle system and still-frame cutscenes <_<

LOL, well you can only fit so much info onto a GBA cartridge, and I think Lunar: SSSC was a 5 disc game wasn't it? Razz
Title: (no subject)
Post by: Mark of the Dragon on April 23, 2005, 09:13:26 AM
The game itself was only 2 disks, lol. It also included a soundtrack CD and a Behind The Scenes CD. Lunar 2 had 5 disks: 3 for the game, 1 STRK CD, and a B-T-S cd.

Lunar Legend's still a good game. Just different graphics and stuff. Besides, to make up for the lack of the original BS, they added FF7-Style limit breaks, heh.

Title: (no subject)
Post by: Spyder on April 23, 2005, 11:13:47 AM
FF3j. This'll be the first time it's been on something other than the Famicon. I thought it was coming out soon, but GameSpot doesn't list a release date. They've been talking about it for a while though, I think even before the DS release, so I'm sure it'll be this summer.

There's been talk of FFXII being released on the XBox, but there probably won't be any FFVII remakes on any Nintendo hardware. Square-Enix would reach more of the fanbase on the PS2. Square-Enix owns the rights to the FF name, and therefore, the rights to FFVII-IX

There are many secrets in, the, game. Many of which, drive some peeps in-sane. When we try to cheat, in a really good game, just sounds like Crap and it makes you look lame.

Exiting the forest is super simple, all you do is Follow these path turns for the reeeest of your gamiiiiing liiife. Follow Geno's route here, Follow Geno's route here, Follow Geno's route here. I'm a gaming god.

1. give me frog coins give me ice bombs give me fright bombs give me mushrooms give me ??? give me star egg give me ??? give me lamb's lure (they're all items in the game)

2. i need to get those damn frog coins to pay off all my credit cards ('give me frog coins' sung over top)
