I'm thinking about coding a new RPGCode3 script that allows the TK to emulate PC-Style RPGs (Baldurs Gate and stuff). The base engine will revolve around point and click with basic options put in. When done, I will include 2 versions of teh engine: commented and uncommented. The commented version will serve to aid in the customization of the project.
The big thing to crack is the character customization (appearance and stuff), but I'm sure I can figure something out in TK3.
Do you like this idea? Answer in the poll above, and leave feedback and suggestions in this topic. Also, if you would like to assist directly in this project, PM me and I'll send you more info on the full project.

Sure, go ahead. Also, if you need graphics, go ahead, and PM more about this game, or you can tell me on MSN if you want...

In general, I like the ability to modify characters.

I have absloutly no clue. So I just Null Voted.

I will get started tomorrow night when I'm done with School and Work. Don't expect it to be done for a while, though.

Okay, cool...

it really doesnt matter what we say, you should just do it in the spirit of open source. You attempting this will fulfill it. even if it doesnt work, you did a service for the TK then.

I say that if you can get it to work, the more power to you. It actualy sounds pretty interesting. Unfortunately, my new game system I am working on runs of PHP and SQL. Yea, it's freakishly complicated. Good luck though!!!!

You gonna release a demo? Or are you going to do the entire thing, and not release any demos?

Ken, don't push too many projects upon yourself. Just work on the RPG.
