There is an AIM virus going around and I think I should warn everyone here about it since I know there are some that use AIM. If you get an IM with a link to " <a href='http://home.comcast.net/~herisangileyporto/image0049.com"' target='_blank'>http://home.comcast.net/~herisangileyporto...e0049.com"</a>  in it, DON'T CLICK. If you already have it you can use an anti-virus to get it. If you don't have an anti-virus program SHAME ON YOU!  Razz
 You can download a free one from my <a href='http://www.alien-r.tk' target='_blank'>website</a>, which I hope works for it.

Here's a link to an anti-virus thing STRICTLY for AIM:

<a href='http://www.jayloden.com/aimfix.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.jayloden.com/aimfix.htm</a>

It works wonders.

Make sure you change ur profile after use; the program changes ur profile info to advertise the proggie. Or u can keep it to help others out...one of the 2.

Hmm. I don't use AIM, but I'll be sure to warn people who do.

there's something like that going around in MSN as well. it's like, an infected person keeps saying "I know who blocked me because I use blocker checker from (link)". I didn't get the link adress but it's pretty obvious when a person is infected, because the virus says stuff FOR the person as well... example:

Cherry says:
     What is going on witI know who blocked me because i use blocker checker from (link)

I've seen that going around... a warning to MSN users *glipses at DudeMan and haraldur >.>*

Oh yeah. And just today, this one chick, kept saying. "Haha, is this really you(link to my profile). That person was really virus infected, she allways said random things, with links in them. Either that or she was totally werid. :wacko:

I had that for the longest time ^^;

But they put the program to get rid of it up on their site, and I can vouch for the side that says that it does work.

Nope, not at all.  At least, it didn't work for me.

A friend of mine that also got the virus said it did work, but only under specific conditions:

You could pick one user to check per day.
That user had to be online and blocking you for the thing to work.
