You'll need to paint the shadows into your tiles themselves.  If they have transparent backgrounds, you could go for a checkerboard pattern (alternate black and transparent pixels) to give the illusion of the shadow making the tile below darker.

Never heard about what you mentioned in the second question.

So, you call yourself your best friend eh? Figures.

And I'm just saying that one cannot do something like that in the Toolkit. And don't you talk to me like that. I may have not been on these forums for as long as most others, but you shouldn't talk to an older member like that. You've got one hell of a nerve you know!

Snakefeeder/EarlessHare, watch your tone. I've been here longer than DudeMan, and I've seen some crazy n00bs come and go, but NEVER have I ever seen anyone at your level of n00bness and who had the sort of nerve to talk to other users using that tone.

I'd like to suggest that all of your accounts get banned until you're out of daipers.

I'm glad to hear your own self is your best friend! Also, it is very rude to talk to someone who has been here a far longer time than you have (Dudeman).  Have you no respect to that Oldbie of MS...or have you no brains either?

Haha. Thanks Yammy, yet I think he's gotten the point. I wouldn't consider myself an oldbie however, judgeing that most people have been in the community longer then I. I'd probabbly just call myself a 'Midbie' at the most. <_< . Oldbies would be people Like Spyder, Xorlak, Vampz, R043482, Asimir, etc.

Okay, you, by the power of Mystic Software, are officially dubbed,"MIDBIE!!!!". I'll still be a Newbie until 2008...but then the people you listed will be Elderbies.
