For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, DEMO TEAM is the representative tournament team of a martial arts school. I have made the team for my school, and I have a pic of me wearing the stylish new uniform!

The next tournament is in mid-March, so yeah. That's a small problem 0_0;;

I don't think I'll have the 540 kick or the POP-UP by then. I keep injuring myself when I try <_<

But yes, congrats on you being on the DEMO TEAM!

Thx all. Pulled a hamstring last night, so progress on that kick will be a lot slower for a while Sad

Hmm... the Demo Team. Is there a Full Version Team?

No. Amusing thought, though.

You look super fly.

Any reason why you called yourself that, Demo Team?

It is short for "Demonstration Team," which is really 90% of what the Demo Team does...we demonstrate techniques at festivals and stuff and its like advertising for our school. Also, we have our routines for the tournaments where we compete against other schools' demo teams. And on top of that, we actually learn the flashy techniques from the instructors if we're on the team...as opposed to trial and error.

Sounds interesting. If I were more mobile and flexible, I'd join. Well I still probably wouldn't, just because I'm lazy. Smile

Only downside is that the demo team gets hurt more while learning the showoff techniques...you can only imagine how many times I've fallen on my ass, my back, or even landed while crushing my leg. It's brutal.

Ouch, count me out. I get more then enough pain sitting on a wooden stool in science class for 80 minutes.
