Well, that's interesting.  My dad works for a union and only pays something like $20 per month in dues.

Of course, you're only working 9.5 hours per week and dues are a fixed rate, so if you worked more, you'd get a higher percentage of your pay (which of course, is realy hard to do for a full time student, I know, heh...).

I'd bring it to your management's attention.  If they can't do anything about it, well it's up to you if 23.83/9.5 = $2.50 per hour is worth it.  (Heh...)

I remember I had a job delivering flyers, it paid 20 bucks a month. You only worked one day a week however.

Once again, it depends on what you're doing. For example, if you have to take care of a parking lot that's always empty, and you visit it like once every two weeks, then 20 bucks per week is good. If however you work in mcDonalds or something, then that's not that good.

If you look at the pay stub...it tells you exactly where I work. Giant, a unionized grocery store -_-

I work in the produce department...rotating fruits and vegetables, re-working the older ones and putting a pretty little discount tag on it, and keeping the place clean. Easy as it sounds, I never get a chance to sit back except in my 15 minute break every 2 1/2 hours.

...or you could always just find a new job. Either way, it works.

I have put out applications to every business and commercial location within a 10 mile radius within the past 3 months. I can't apply to any of them again for another 3.
