Yeah, Spyder disappears from MS whenever the post frequency drops below a certain threshold, only to return to make occasional "this site will never go down" news updates.  (Heh...)

Hmm... SSJ Gohan, right?

Sorry man, Xorlak pretty much hit the nail on the head, only this time I returned to reset someone's password, heh. But yeah, welcome back to the void

Wow, nice to see Spyder and Trigunasha posting. Didn't you make that newer account before? Inumatasha or something?

Ah, yes, but this accounts older, thus, more pimp. B)

I just wanted to log in for old times sake, so I asked Spyder politely... and he obliged.  So, yay.  I looked back at some of my old, spam-filled and MOTD flaming posts (in which I still apologize for all of that, I think Asians are hot. Wink ) and found myself laughing my ass off as I read through some of the G's Shack posts. Very Happy

Yes, I too even find enjoyment in reading some of your flame war posts. I also find a lot of humour in reading my old posts. I can't believe that I actually used 2 instead of to at one time, when now a days I don't even say LOL.

But yes, feel free to post again and I will try to reply to (almost) everything you say and maybe some other people will as well. SAVE MYSTIC SOFTWARE!

Seriously, I was so noobish back then... its embarrasing.  Honestly, I don't remember you, though.  Did you have a name change?

We should bring back G's Shack. Wink

Dude Man = Galaton
Title: (no subject)
Post by: Dude Man on August 01, 2006, 10:56:09 PM
Yeah but I only made 21 posts I think. I wasn't nearly as active as Galaton then I am now. I think I've got like 4950 posts now.

I remember I was around when you were around. Not for very long. But I remember you weren't getting a long very well with everyone and I said something helpful to you about something and you comment. "Thanks, it's nice to know that somebody here badly" or something to that effect.

Nice to know someone here badly?  Well... um... I'm not so sure about that.

Galaton... I think I remember that name.  I was younger, and I've always had a bad memory, but that name rings a bell.

Sucks that they removed the Post Count, everywhere, even on TKZ and etc.  I guess they did it for a good reason, I spammed quite a lot to get on top of, mainly, MotD.  But I still think you should be able to view your own post count, but not others, so you'll atleast know your post count but won't know others... so no need to compete.

That's why I came back with that apologetic post, so that I could make up for my rudeness back then, but mainly to MotD and Tosoto, since they're the ones that I mainly spammed against and fought with.

I remember I had... 400 (?) posts.  And left a month or so.  Came back.  HOLY **** Haraldur has a THOUSAND ****IN' POSTS!!! O_O  And now he's... what, like a mod on Mysticsoftware or something?  I think... I clicked the staff page, but I may be wrong.

I meant to say, "Doesn't treat me badly." I was tired when I wrote that post.

But yeah, Haraldur is the reviews manager for Mystic Software. Before they got rid of post count he had the highest, Cesque was 2nd Dark Elite was 3rd and I was 4th and I think MotD was 5th. I'm pretty sure I'm 1st now.

MotD hated post counts I remember him shouting comments like "You post counters should die!!"

Most of my posts were off topic, but people (at least Haraldur) found my posts interesting and funny, when I first joined as Dude Man.

I also recall when I first joined as Dude Man, there was a major war between MotD vs. Haraldur & Cesque. MotD made a topic that they should be banned and I remember Night Stalker (a newbie) made a topic saying MotD should be banned. I voted NO on both of them because I saw from the start it was entirely silly. You may recall that happen, but that was when I first rejoined.

As Galaton I remember I just made a few posts on Ruben's forum for the Forth Dimension, and some on General Discussion about getting my game hosted.

I think its funny how I can be the number one poster, leave, come back, someone takes my place with over seven hundred more posts than me, and then become a staff of mysticsoftware. <_<

MotD hating post counts?  Since when?  Me and him would "post war" and attempt to have the higher post count.  Spam, spam, spam!  He even went so far as to say, "I'm tired of fighting for the highest post count" or something along those lines.  I'll look it up later if I have the time.

I remember a post saying that I should be banned....  Sad  I'll look it up later, again, if I have the time.

And I understand what you mean when you type something and you're tired.  I've done that quite alot at TKZ lately and then I wind up saying something offensive or stupid that wasn't meant to be, because I was tired, either sleepily or just tired of typing.  Or people not understanding my sarcasm without me having to type [/sarcasm] for people to understrand it wasn't serious.  I thought the Wink would be enough, but, I guess not.

Does Ruben work for cash? Wink

Beats me. The most I've ever heard of Ruben is that he does work for Xorlak. Does Ruben post on TKZ? I only post here and the Dark Age forums. I don't know why I don't post on TKZ, I think people hate me over there. I don't know why, but I feel so outside and unsafe at TKZ. Wink

I was being sarcastic with the Reuben thing....

I think he does post occasionally on TKZ, and I'm stretching that word as far as it'll go.  I don't know how often he posts here or on the DA forums, so I can't make comparisons, but he does, occasionally.

Do you even have an account on TKZ?  (Well, I guess you probably do...)  Is your username the same there as here?  Unless you said something that pissed a lot of people off, you aren't hated.  And if you did, we don't talk about it! Razz  I recently said something that, erm... sort of bashed gay people (*cough*) and I've recently had a bunch of people bringing that up to bash me on completely unrelated topics (and that was before I realized Colin was gay. O_O)  And I posted a picture of me and I got in a little, erm, scuffle with a user about my appearance, because apparently, "he doesn't like me."  What I did to him, I dunno.  I guess he's got sand in his mangina. Razz

TKZ has a lot of annoying newbies and some midbies that are still annoying.  But I guess its better than here in one way, and one only: it's not always dead. <_<

That's probably the only reason why more people don't come here. If you read my other post you'd get my point.

But seriously, I can't even say something against gay marriage, without Colin dumping his homophobe-phobe facts on me.

I don't even care anymore, just get married. You're gay, that's great. You're a minority so your opinions automatically mean more then mine does I get it. That's probably why the government caved in and allowed gay marriage, they just stopped caring.

I'll admit he does make some good points, but I get the feeling he just waits for people like me so he can pwn people with his m4d 1337 sk1llzz.

(Just to let you know, I'm not a homophobe, if one of my friends turned out to be gay, I wouldn't mind, as long as they know that I'm not.)

According to 97% of TKZ, I'm a homophobe...

It surprised me, I remember, when I found out that Colin was gay.  But meh, he didn't act gay (or type, but whatever) so I couldn't even tell, so it was all good to me.

I'll admit. I can't stand those flamboyantly gay people. Like there is this one Special K commercial (the cereal), and there is probably the most disturbing flaming homosexual on that commercial.

I don't mind if people are gay but when they talk in that 'voice' and be like. "OH MY GOD, THREE WORD FAB-U-LUSS! HELLO I'M THE QUEEN OF LEAN!" I just can't stand it.

Fortunately, the gay people I see aren't like that so I just assume it's a stereotype people have for homosexuals. If somebody is gay, I don't care, just as long as they don't act like a stereotypical homosexual and hit on people who aren't gay (ie: me).

Agrees.

As long as that don't act gay, its all good.
If I can't tell they like men, I'm OK with it.
Title: (no subject)
Post by: Dude Man on August 16, 2006, 10:26:37 AM
That's not really what I mean. If I can tell they like men, it's fine, as long as they aren't all HUGELY open about it, and smack my ass when I walk past them in the hallway or consider themselves women and call themselves "Queens".
Title: (no subject)
Post by: Cuzit on August 18, 2006, 06:53:53 PM
That's not what I meant. Wink

I don't like people that are... stereotypical gay.  You know, dress like a girl and whatnot, try to talk differently, strut, stare at other, probably straight, men's asses... you know, like that.  I don't really feel like getting into a huge gay topic that'll probably end up offending gay people, so let's leave it at this.  I'm pretty sure I didn't mean that the way you interpreted it.

So, Dude Man.  You didn't log on for like three days.  That's not like you.  You're the type of person to log in even on these partly unactive forums.  When you weren't logged in I was like... WTF?  No one to talk to! Razz

Hahah, yeah I was away last weekend (read other topic for more info). I think it was yesterday I thought about posting on TKZ, but I didn't feel like it, I saw one topic. "How do you make 3D in the Toolkit."

It kind of upsets me how people don't read the help files. Most questions that are asked are either impossible to do, can be answered with some reading, "how do you make a custom battle system."

EVEN try only? I currently only post here and the DA forums. Yet other then DAL, the DA forums are more active then here. Not counting the people who post only on DAL, we have about five people who post here.

Figures....

I never really go to those forums where newbies are asking about all of that.  There's a group of people called "Newbie Caretaker"s that work with the newbies and help them (I'm technically one, but I never do my duty.... ^_^ )... so I leave they're job up to... them. Wink  I usually post in the Community Discussion and Media forums.  If you want to advoid newbies, post there.  For the most part, anyway. Wink

And I'm considering checking out those forums... too lazy. Wink

I currently frequently post at TKZ, TKGaming, MysticSoftware, Unusual Forums, and GameFaqs.  I'm a busy, busy boy! Razz

I do very, very little, in both ways of on the computer, the Internet and real life. So I would be the opposite of busy. I'm at the point where a friend can call me, in the middle of day wile I'm just sitting around watching Family Matters, and ask me to do something that would require me to walk a very long distance, and I have no objection into doing that.

Other then Dark Age Legends, I really have nothing I find the 'need' to do on the computer anymore. I guess that might be one of the million reasons I choose to post only here.

*cough*p0rn*cough*

Neh, I'm just kidding with that.  (Though I can't say I object to it... porn is... everywhere.  *Click* Whoops, Mom, it just popped-up! XD)

You find something that really interests you, and you'll be doing that everyday, perhaps.  I really enjoy posting on the aftermentioned forums, I do that almost daily.  That's pretty much all I bother doing on the internet.  Running dial-up, anything and everything takes forever to load up... that's why I don't even bother playing games. Sad

wow I feel very left out, i've only been here for a few days.... although I've been messing around with RPTK since 3.0.4 or later, all I know is that it was about 2 years ago 2005. yep, too bad for me
