Now that the Cave dungeon is finished, I started backtracking some old boards and thought of retouching them. Some will have major makeovers, others will just have minor edits. So far I'm done with two of them:
Skyra Marketplace:

Ah yes, they are showing up now. Excellent, excellent work as always Khin.
But there is one thing I don't like. The shadows for the sprites might look better if they were more solid in the middle and then get more translucent near the end.

Loving the new additions to the old boards. Lots of detail makes this game truly beautiful.
-
Glad people liked it. It was worth the effort Smile
@Ross: Welcome to our new forum!
@DudeMan: It would be better IF the shadows were alpha-blended...but ah well...we'll settle for dithering. ;P

The streets look a little *too* white. At first I thought it was snow...
-
You mean all streets you've seen so far or just the latest shot? We can darken it a little and give some tint of blue or red maybe.
-
Hmm, I suppose all the streets, but many of the others have lots of shading and stuff on them, so it's not as obvious. The two shown above are very white though. I don't know if blue or red would be a tint I would choose... perhaps grey...
Honestly though, if it's not bothering anyone, don't change it at all.
