Title: What say you to a side quest?

(Note: This is all just for when DAL goes on break/holiday, such as DAL Day. Also, I don't expect anybody to respond except Xorlak or Dude man, considering this is a question just for moderators, or one that could only be answered by a moderator... that's a long note... Dang...)

As a solution for boredom across all of Gaian, I have thought of a neat compramise. What say you to a side quest? It would only run while DAL is offline, of course, but we'd make all different characters and make ten-twenty-post-long skits. It would be just like working over a holiday!

... Scratch that last sentence....

Anyways, what do you think?

Something like this was done before with a "post chapter 10" side topic.  I'm totally okay with this, but things that go on in it may or may not be considered cannon.  I won't be participating though, since the point of the chapter breaks is to take a break from DAL.  (Heh...)

Cool! I'll write up a topic for a chapter twelve side quest... but would we use our normal characters?

You could if you want, but chapter 13 is going to start immediately after 12 with no time lapse, so it would have to have taken place at a different time.

Yeah, I don't know really. I kind of need the break. Post Chapter 10 was needed because many people were unable to finish up a few things and 10-11 had an 18 month interval.

Hmm... that would complicate things a bit... I'm just talking about a standard side quest. It's pretty much a whole new story kind of deal, eh...? Well, I thought that would have been interesting, and a comprimise for boredom. You know, the craze that's sweeping the nation?

... Yeah... I'll just stick to criticizing other peoples jokes rather than coming up with my own... Smile

Uhh... Heh... I guess you were right, Xorlak, There is a break needed...

Is there any way you can delete the post I have up there? Nobody seems intrested, and it's kinda making me look stupid. I know nobody enjoys looking like an idiot... unless you get paid for it Smile.

Anyways, I'd appreciate any kind of deletion of this topic, as it only has one post. I'm not going to post more if I'm the only guy there!
