I made a new picture of Nex for his DALPedia page (http://http://www.darkagegames.net/dalpedia/index.php/Nex), but I'm not sure if I should replace the old picture or not. What do you guys think?

The original one looks cleaner

Perhapse if you gave the old one the newer one's background, it would look 10X more awsome. But seriously, the newer one was a nice job. Whenever I try to update hand drawn pictures of my characters, they're either missing something, or they're just out of proportion. Nice job! I think I said that already. Oh well, whatever.

No, I think the background is what ruins it. There's just too much contrast between hand-drawn lines and the photoshop-generated cloud filter. Nex's image on it looks jagged (see the little white pixels around him?) In fact, I say the opposite - if you could touch up the old image without the background, but just make white and black contrast more as you did with Nex in the new one, that would be better IMO.

I'd have to agree with Ein on this one Drannic, I tried doing what you said and it didn't look good at all. I can't have a picture up there that I don't like...
EDIT: Here I'll post them...

Heck, I actually like the new one without the background the best. Unless the rest of you guys really want one of the other ones.

New one! Background!

Well, you heard the word, DM. Xorlak wills it - it must be so.

I'd still like a vote from the other people who haven't, if they're even going to. I'll give it a few days before I change it...
And maybe I'll try and sneak in the old picture which will be somewhere in his bio or something. Razz

It has been done! (http://http://www.darkagegames.net/dalpedia/index.php/Nex)
