As you've probably noticed, there's no option for no.
Reason for that: This is no longer a stable community because of them. Notice that shortly after they both joined, many ppl in the TK community have left. Their 25+ posts daily has made some ppl choose not to even visit anymore.
This community may flourish again if they were to leave.
If either Cesque or Heraldur reply or vote, then they will be burnt at the stake...so iow, CESQUE AND HERALDUR ARE NOT WELCOME TO VOICE THEIR OPINIONS ON THIS TOPIC!!!
-
I think the decline in active members here correlates to the decline of Toolkit projects in general... not to the fact that some members post a lot.
-
the only reason i would say yes (but im not going to) is because they have become "a posting freak" and im jelouse, but i dont feel that one should be banned forbeing active in something, or because people are leaving and we have no one to blame
-
Being too active and ANNOYING! Posting mainly to up their post count! Taking over the community!
-
You want to ban me? Sure. You can do this easily, for swearing on forums.
SHUT YOUR (Editor: Censored)ING FACE UP, MARK OF THE DRAGON (Editor: Censored)ER. YOU WANT TO (Editor: Censored) GET RID OF ME, OKAY! I'LL (Editor: Censored) OFF MYSELF.
I HAVE NEVER (Editor: Censored)ING CARED ABOUT THE (Editor: Censored)ING POST AMOUNT AND OTHER SUCH SHIT.
I hope this helps. I've given you a reason, now, didn't I?
-
I have never cared about my post count. It does not really matter. I just type because I like typing with people.
Why would we want to take over the community? The community is very good as it is.
-
Well, heraldur took this a little better than Cesque did...alright, I'll see what i can do about altering the poll for only Cesque.
-
Shut-the-(Editor: Censored)-up-and-ban-me-if-you-are-so-(Editor: Censored)ing-powerful!!!
I do not care what you think, Mark. You've suddenly begin believing me to be cause of all your problems, and the lack of community people. I won't take it better than Haraldur. I do not (Editor: Censored)ing care however you take it.
I don't know how posting much (compared to fact that you post hell, too) is a guilty. Perhaps you'll accuse me of being king of the jews and crucify me?
Sure, later your (Editor: Censored)ing polls, I do not care. Just please don't curse me if I won't post, don't make me a national enemy and yourself a heroic martyr, just shut the (Editor: Censored) up and I'll do the same. Understood?
-
Also, I believe Haraldur's nick is Haraldur, not Heraldur. But spell it as you like it.
-
Alright, fine. Sorry. Now chill...
And haraldur, sorry for the spelling error.
-
I'd have to agree with Xorlak and DarkElite here B) .
Because there active every day that would keep not so active members to come back because of new posts.
-
I think people are becoming a little polarised and quite angry here. I think everyone should chill a bit and put some nice calming music in the background to their computers.
-
I would but theres 1 problem with that I dont have that kind on my comp do you know where I can get some for free(listen not keep)?
-
Do you have any CDs?
-
cesque man calm down he is just bein a prick just cus ur a postin freak doest make u no kinda geek or n e fin man i fink its kool the amount of posts uve put down u just got a lot 2 say thats all.

-
Hehe. I like irony.
However, I think it is best not to prolong things like this. Very Happy
-
Nobody should be banned I think you should all just live with each other or ignore each other or something else! Just stop being mean to each other! It mean to be mean!
P.S. I am (the not so famous) Galaton but with a new e-mail and SN.
P.P.S I'm not a hippe! I just don't like people hateing each other!
-
Nightstalker gonna get his neck snapped if i ever see him face to face.
-
Ooo...Somebody sounds mad. Oops I hope your not mad at me now...I didn't mean anything out of that. Please don't kill me...*hides onder a table*
-
Don't worry. You haven't pissed me off yet.
-

MotD - whats so wrong with posting a lot?
Cesque - do you enjoy cursing people out?
Haraldur - nothing wrong here
Night Staker - i agree with the posting freak thing
Xorlak - never anything wrong
Dark Elite - hmm....
Dude Man - why would we think your a hippe because of that?
-
i know why some here is so evil...its because a lot of them are athiatic!
-
I'm still here, I just don't see alot of topics i'm intersted in posting in.
Mark, what possessed you to make this topic? Stop thinking with your dick and think about things before doing it
What I don't like is how Cesque and Haraldur revived topics that were more than 2 weeks old. That was just stupid
-
I just got pissed off when I read the topic where MotD was talking at asians and trigunasha was racist. I got really pissed off.
-
Hmm, what do you mean by athatic? Atheistic or what?
Hmmm, faith - and fanaticism - isn't that good, either. Charlemagne drowned people with millstones straight after baptism, so they died like catholics, during wars with pagans. Crusaders have been known for torturing, raping, plundering and mass murder in Jerusalem. When they faced anger, some sources claim they commited canibalism (they ate arabs, because eating christians would be a sin). The Holy Inquisition was arresting and torturing people, usually then burning them in furnaces, which were later changed into stakes because these were cheaper...
Just letting you know faith was changing over ages, now we're in "Jesus loves you" era, previously people had "Jesus hates those who don't believe" or "Jesus promises you heaven if you'll kill a pagan."
As for people...
MotD - Yeah... What's wrong?
Cesque - No, I don't.
Haraldur - Yeah, nothing wrong.
Night Stalker - I hev nothing against dis guy...
Xorlak - Right.
Dark Eite - Indeed.
Dude Men - Tough life, nowadays. When you're bold, you're considered skinhead, when you're dressed in black, you're considered death metal lover (or a priest), same way talking about peace makes you a hippie...
-
I hate fanatisism of all kinds, Christian, Muslim, anything.
-
Fanaticism is still present... The old ladies gathered around churches to pray for those who sinned etc - this is how christian fanaticism looks like today. If the Church would not ask for praying for sinners, but rather going around streets and killing them, those poor ladies would do that, too, propably. Or maybe they wouldn't. Others would. Most likely, some murders and bandits.
There already was such thing in history - peoples' crusade, led by some hermit (it was directly before 2nd crusade, I believe), which was going toward Jerusalem, burning, murdering and raping any town on it's way in name of God. Most members of this so-called-holy organisation were hermits, lone knights, bandits seeking asylum or peasants seeking freedom. The Church itself was quite impressed what idiots are these and did not support them... That wouldn't help them anyway. When they got a bit closer toward muslim lands, Turks have attack, massacred and murdered all members of the peoples' crusade, which were absolutely unpreppared to face real enemy, trapped, and outnumbered. Thank God.
Hmm, Haraldur, you're an atheist, but look at it this way. You have a God. Your God is supreme, he made this world, we are all his puppets and by his will we can be redeemed or damned. Now this God wants something from you. Wouldn't you, for heavens sake, do what he wants? I would. But I'm not ensured Church still has something from God in it, beside fundaments.
-
The only possible God would be me, and I am not God. I believe the good(?) that the belief in God produced will not be repeated, belief in him is now almost useless in rich countries, as his origional purpose was to make people with bad lives believe there was something good for them after all. In rich countries people do not need to know they will have a good life, they already have one. He, in my opinion, does not exist and has never existed, except in the imagination of people.
It is startling how much more pious people get in bad situations.
-
Not exactly... This was Marx' doctrine, that God is "opium" for common folk...
Actually, many rich people believe in God, and many people get rich by believing in God. Whole Church, for example. Also, most people lose their piety in bad situation. Many priests and pastors could not work longer, because after death of someone from family they lost their faith in God's justice...
Hmm, I somehow believed some time ago that the whole 'God' process works like this: Gods creates people, people create their own God.
I don't like to repeat myself in life, so I'll put some quotes from a story I once wrote, "Doom Legacy", on which I somehow wanted to base "Fall from Grace" game, it told a story of a specific, easily understandable world which fell prey to creatures dwelling in it...
THE BEGINNING
At the beginning, the Sculptor made the clay. And from that clay, he
createn has all the world and every Creature alive. [...]
[...]
THE NEW AGE
And so, a New Age began. And the culture, that was once vanquished,
now raised again and the Creatures once again to power called.
But among them, there was the One. And One, that was chosen, said:
We cannot fight each other, nor control the power! The Sculptor only
has the power to do so, and so we must create a Temple to thank
Sculptor for what he done! And so, Creatures have createn a Temple,
in which the built a monument o a Sculptor. And on the top of that
Temple, the built a Curtain again, to prevent Temple of destruction
by Apollion. And then, the One said: Why our power muyst belong to us?
Let Sculptor rule us, for he is the wisest one!
[...]
THE SECOND ONE
And the third One was chosen because the old One died. And the new One
said: Have the Sculptor said we can't battle? There are other Creatures
that live not within a Temple, and they are doomed because they
are not friends of Sculptor and Curtain does not protect them, we must
destroy them because they are Evil! And so, he createn Evil. First
thing it was, what was called Evil, and what was Evil in itself,
and so he chosen Evil and he called it Evil, because Evil it was,
in his tought. But then, a Scultptor felt his Creatures are going
wrong way, and so came onto earth and said: Stop! You are Evil, the One
said, and you are a daemon! You are an illusion created to destroy our
Temple! You are the mirage to change Good into Evil! You shall be
doom of us all! But the Scultptor said: I am the Sculptor! And there
is no creation beyond mine! And you have no right to create Evil
without my will! And change my will, you have yours own! And the One
said: Liar! There is only one Sculptor, we must pray to and thank
him, because he createn us! And Evil you are, and begone! And then,
all the Creatures that haven't Sculptor knew, found he was a Sculptor,
and the Creatures that listed to the third One where in error, and
they thought it is a daemon and Evil. And so, a chaos appeared, and
the Sculptor said: Is this your prayer, o One? The will of yours
you place before the will of many and me? Then be damned!
[...]
(I've put my favourite lines in bold, about the true origin of Evil)
Yeah, it contains lots of ortographic mistakes (it was even prior to my later 'bible', Song of Azrael), but there is still some sense in it.
In case you don't get some parts, the Apollion is a powerful globe of energy, like sun, energy which has power to give life and to take it. Creatures have created the Machine, which prevented Apollion's lethal energy, but later the Machine had an error and prevented the vital energy, and to prevent their deaths, creatures have created Curtain atop the Temple which shielded them. (at least this is how I remember it)
-
Wow. However, most people who believe in God would have been brought up that way. Most new conversions to Christianity are in the poorest and most war-ridden areas of Africa, poor people suffering hardship are most likely to start believing in God.
-
The whole art of missions and conversion is a complicated one...
Centuries before Freud and his psychology, Church used tons of symbolism, propaganda and mental influence to ensure people WILL believe in God.
For example, roman-style churches usually had very long main hall, which was dark, and altar, bright and lighted by solar rays coming through windows. People walking through church were heading through darkness toward light - like from path of sin to the God himself.
Also, another commonly known thing is "poors' bible", illustrations which shown scenes from evangelies. This way, even those who couldn't read could know Bible the way Church wanted them to know it...
Also, art pieces, like "Temptation of St Antony". It shown St Antony, sitting in forest, while all around Devil was tempting him - and not Devil shown like in testament, great, powerful demon - but rather, small and hard to see - series of small hands and feet, trying to kill a fat pig in vicinity of hungry saint, or spilling water and wine from the pots...
Also, let's take Cotez' trials to convert aztecs. Aztecs had bloody religion, they sacrificed people by ripping out bleeding heart from their chest, they ate their enemies to gain there strength. Cortez converted them mostly by understanding their beliefs (those, who he wanted to convert, through he simply anihilated most indians on his path); they told them to eat the wafer and drink wine, because these were blood and flesh of God. If Aztecs would gain adversaries' powers by eating them, they would gain power of God by eating God's flesh, won't they? They were eager to perform this sacrament...
-
I do not like the idea of religion. I believe it has also caused a lot of suffering in itself.
-
i dont have any cds lik that halder.
<_< Sad no one sayed anything about me. <_<
-
That is because you never annoy anyone.
