Sad Sad Sad Sad
Goodbye people. I probably will not be here again. I hope MOTD enjoys this. Bye.
-
Ow. Pretty damn cool. The prophet who foretelled the expire of tk community has himself jumped into the flames to haste up his predictions.
I wasn't expecting that, really.
As for MotD... Really... Don't listen to fools, for the one who listens to them is greater fool than him.
If that's the only argument, I can consider you doing a stupid thing.
Come on, people! STOP BEING LEMMINGS! One after another we try to jump into the sea and drown, first MotD, then me, now Haraldur! Enough of this...
Aaaah, last words for me to say to the descendant into the oblivion? Visit my site, dude.

Mwahaha, while I have gathered strength to get ftp and put up a site, and even work on a game a bit more, Haraldur falls. Pity.
-
Sad Sad Sad    Smile Smile Smile !
Thanks Cesque. Nice site.
Maybe we can prevent the oblivion.
I think I was actually starting to believe what MotD was saying. Sanity now prevals, thanks to Cesque.
-
Wow. I never expected to have sanity myself, and now - hmmm, I'll consider becoming a psychiatrist.
And... what was MotD saying? He wasn't that angry at you, at all (he pointed mostly at me, hehe). Also, he's paranoid at the point with posting freaks and all.
Also, note he actually directed all his "shut up" posts at some "Haralder" and you're "Haraldur", as far as I know. He might think about other person. B)
After all, it's not worthy to leave only to have MotD's wish granted.
-
Heh, there was a huge argument with MotD swearing at me on the Dark Age Forum, but I think Xorlak got rid of it.
-
Heh, I was refreshing on your site and now: your clock count is at 50.
-
DON'T LEAVE, HARALDUR!!!
You guys were right...I was just freaking out because the ppl I had gotten used to had left...they were of the old community. We're of the new.
Stick around, will ya?
And I'm sorry for the swearing, the poll, and the other stuff.
-
??????????????!
Wow! Thnaks MotD. No problem about the other stuff, man, it is the past.
I really shoud get on with my games... I should download the new TK3 with the bug fixes, then the iso might work better Very Happy How is Eternal blade?
-
nice, someones become a better person...unless he already was but just wouldnt show it, and i dont want haraldur to leave (thought thats already done with) Very Happy
-
Hmmm... As a rule, I can forgive anyone who is forgivable, so I'll too, leave the poor idiot MotD B)
Never seen the swearing at DA forum... Sorry for my own swearing at MotD.
50 visitors?! Wow!
-
Cesque: I mean that I found that if I refreshed the counter increased, so I just refreshed until it was at 50.
I have nothing against swearing, actually I found MotD's swearing quite amusing.
DarkElite: MotD was just pissed off about us being the only people here really, I think.
-
Ah, well, thanks, through it's less objective now. I could have set it to 9999 straight from beginning, but what's the point? Okay, okay...
-
How is Eternal blade?
It's going alright. Working on my third sprite-set. Been kinda busy with martial arts these days, though...haven't had much time to work.
-
Well, my games have been static due to my laziness Smile so I cannot really blame you.
-
Hmmm, my game is all right. Except the fact it's bugged as hell. And the BS is a bit hard to convert into #whiles and #methods from #branches without having loads of bugs. Battle seems all right, actually, thanks to Xorlak, except player get's so involved in it that he can't quit, and when enemies are defeated, character is so sad all the fun is gone that he stands staticaly in place.
I just start to see what fun is to compose non-programic part of game, like boards and (it's somehow programic) dialogues, and story, and the environment. It's even fun for me to think names for each single character (I called the Rat God after the pharaoh, Echnaton, hehe)...
But, one more problem remains... GAME'S NAME! If anyone has an idea how to call (not after character, not after evil guy, not after mythical weapon or anything of this, something about event, situation or occurance) a game, where two fractions fight each other, no one can really tell which is good, plus they get attack by the real evil, the demons, but after all the definition of demon is not what it seems, and in the end no one get's what's going on, the player screams "WHAT THE HELL?!" and get's insane from the mad story, finally get's put into insane asylum and even there, after heavy psychotropes, can't think out why the paladins are bad and gnostics are not, or maybe it's vice versa, or maybe they both are bad, or good, or there is no evil, or maybe it's all matrix and we don't exist... So, if anyone has idea for a name to such game, TELL ME! Very Happy
Also, I'm working on the class system, and it's going further and further into dialogues. For example, taking example of Diablo, after defeating each boss, character says a quote depending on his class. Paladin will, for example, curse the Rat God in the name of light, necromancer will pity him, as he was unpreppared for death, druid will throw quote about nature's balance and sorceress about harmony of Cosmos... Through still, in closest demo, there propably will only be 1 class, the paladin.
-
You could call it nephilim, after the site and the angels you mention somewhere.
Maybe Holy War, as there are opposing religious factions.
-
Hmmm. Holy War? It's not that holy... The problem is, calling it unholy from the beginning gives away the fact it's unholy Smile Heh... But maybe something like that...
Nephilim? Nah, the sole "nephilim" is not enough... Nephilim Legacy?
-
Yeah, okay. Anyway, you know more about your game than us, so you would know more about the relative importance of things.
-
Yeah, though for first time in history I have no idea on how to call my game, it's simply not that obvious, what the name should be...
The best would be one, good word which would describe it... Maybe some latin word...?
My previous agmes (which never seen daylight, generally) were called "Gerard's Quest", "Clarity of Purpose", "Storm Raider", "TWoA", "Song of Azrael" and "Fall from Grace" (I've abandoned it for now)
-
Mortus, Necros, Deus, Machina, Deux Ex Machina, Theus, Angelos, Aggelos, System, Bellum, Sancta Bellum,....
-
It's sanctum bellum, not sancta bella.
Sancto contemno sounds better to me Smile Holy hate... Or, simply, Ira Dei - Wrath of God.
Also, Morbus Ferri - "Iron Disease" sounds good to me.
Through, most likely, I will call game "Nephilim Legacy"... Or maybe, "Coelis", after main human villain name.
-
I am not that good at latin and greek anyway. You could use aggelos/angelos, as that is greek for angel or messenger.
-
I could use "Enlighted Ages", which would prettily compare to "Dark Age", hehehe. Very Happy And the in-game history refers to age in which game takes place as "Enlighted Age".
Hmm, the title must not only mean something, but also must sound all right, overally. Aggelos doesn't sound that good... Also, angels don't take that significant role in game, except some of them... Nephilim are not really angels, they are half-angels, to which Bible refers as giants... which eat human flesh and drink blood, add the apocryphics.
Nah... I'll most likely call the game pretty simply - "Revelance". Or aftter angel Arad, who binds together science and religion... Or after any other angel. I'll just need to think...
-
Aggelos is pronounced Angelos, because a double g in Greek makes an ng sound.
-
Hmm, I don't know greek. I'm going to pro-european profile class, not the humanistic one, so I won't know greek. Hehehe. Cool.
The game's name is now "Satarel's Pride", or maybe I'll change it to "Satarel's Legacy" or use any other word which makes no true sense in most games. If author makes a game after some hero, and has to call it, but the sole name is not enough, he usually calls it "<Heroname$>'s Legacy", or "<Heroname$>'s pride". As far as I see. Or maybe not. Heh.
-
Or <hereoname>'s gate... in at least one example...
