well its not really a CHALLNAGE but more of a request...i need a battle system like zelda (i.e. can walk around and fight). It will have to do with a gun, i want a gun to hold 6 BULLETs and able to reload after those 6 are gone, but not have an unlimited supply, and also have a button to use a sun-machine gun with 300 BULLETs and able to reload, but each shot takes 50-100 bullets, depends on the ferocity, and then the ability to use a knife.

also i need a key to use MEDICAL PACKS or other accessories (i.e. gernades) by using the 0-9 keys (easiest way), also if you can implement a health and stamina bar (i.e. when you get hit youe health goes down, and when you attack teh stamina goes down) and a health bar for each enemy (1-3 enemies).

Actually no one has to do this...i just thought it would put a nice touch to my other game (im not gonna start on my other game till i get some staff, casue theres SO much to do). Thanks.

P.S. or if someone knew where i could find a tutorial on this (this type of battle system) instead, id make it myself. B)

I know less than you Zeros', so there is no chance of me making a decent battle system now. Have you tried one of the BSs on the Shack or TKZone?

Laughing well right know im making my own BS using a couple different active time BS's should be done by the year 38293230289230928309293 and my game should be done by the year 48293230289230928309293

heh, well if had some time...i might be able to squez a bit of a look into it....although, i have to know what variables you want to have the stats and stuff like that....other details...you know

Well....Hmmm...I don't think I stand a chance doing that because I still have to use menu build to make my menu systems and I tried to make a BS once and well... Sad I don't really wanna talk about it!

BS are best done from smallest, basic programs, which you can then improve up to real BS.

I started my BS as program where you attacked enemy, enemy striked back, and whoever decreased enemy's hp to 0 or below won. Now it includes in-game created item support, speed gauges, elemental attacks, resistances, weapon specific abilities, like sucking hp as mana, or slaying beholders, and a ton of bugs! I currently re-write it but this game really drives me insane.

Well acually mine wasn't that bad. But untill I tried to ad an Items menu and Specials and other stuff...well things got a bit messy so I deleted it. And then there was the time when I tried to make a Real time BS and no matter what I did the Debugger poped up and whouldn't go away because of the #branch thing... Sad Oh the storys of my failing atemps of makeing a BS. I think I might wanna stick with makeing Mwins I seem to be good at makeing them. Oh ya go to the RPGCode shack and check my DMwin it's pretty cool. I'm think it might be a little buggy but it's not the final proget of it anyway Smile .

I intend to do that, im already using the source right know, i just need to figure out how to make it so they cant have over 6 bullets in a gun at a time and figure out how to add buttons for attacks (i.e. knife, gun, using medical pack)

do any of the open source corrections for the tk3 include 64x64 yet? of anything good like that?

you can use 64x64 in battles, but i cant see why you would want to use it out of battles, but anyways im not sure
