I have just about finished downloading almost very game on Mystic Software, except for ones I could not download. Unfortunately one which I could not download was Mini-Cars. Sad
Anyway, do you people think I should have a reviews section on my site?
-
I think you should. Reviews are good. People need to know about how good games are. So I think you should have a review section.
And PS I whouldn't worry to much about not being able to get Mini-Cars Laughing
-
Oh yes...mini-cars...
The creator should die.
-
I was sort of joking, but I do want to see the reputed worst TK game ever.
-
Well, if Mini Cars is worse than 6 Wizards then yes.
6 Wizards is CRAP! Crappy tiles, crappy sprites. The music is OK, but I do not know if it is ripped or not. There is little or no story build up, and the story is almost non-existant. Nasty menu, default battle system (OK we cannot blame the creator for that, as Dark Age hadi it and was still good), unbalnced (easy) battles. No challenge to get items: there is a castle where you just pick them up. Sudden events happen with no explanation or build up, eg. you are asked to help people without being told what is wrong. You do get to fly a dragon however. It does have a sort of mini-game.
In short it is a crappy game I could not be bothered to play to the end. If a lot of games are like this then I might think again about reviewing. It might be a bad thing I started in alphabetical order. DO NOT PLAY IT! 1/10. Say it all.
I apologise for my rant.
-
So you've not yet seen mini-cars. By the way, what do you have against it? It's a very entertaining game. Laughing (preppares to get stabbed, hanged and guilotined by Minicar-Hater Front)
Worst game? There was some, where you played a stupid battle robot, you went into room, some character said "oh shit you are hier" or something like that, totally ungrammaticaly, you killed him and said "dis shit sux" and got away. I don't remember the name.
-
querr....
-
Well, I am quite disappointed that some games have been removed or I get 404 error or something.
-
What is queer?
-
What is queer?
-
Queer = Homosexual = (Editor: Censored)
there you go.
I'll do reviews too, because I can!
I'll do reviews, just not about TK games, i'll leave that to you guys
-
the game was queer

You give that 1/10? Okay Mini-Cars makes 6 Wizards look like it's as good as Dark Age 2(that is the best game ever). And really I didn't think 6 wizards was really that bad, it was a bad game, but I don't care what anybody says but I kinda like it  ! Even though the graphics are SOOO bad that I went blind for a week. But the enemy graphic were good. But that just had the word RIPED writtin all over it, if you know what I mean. And FYI the music I belive was ripped from ether on of the Final Fantasy games or TamRPG, witch is an RPG not made by RPG Toolkit and alot of RPG Toolkit games are better then it (But not Mini-Cars. That game just made me cry blood)
-
I've tried to fix all the 404 errors. Let me know if you have any more problems. And make sure you download and install the Godiva patch before you play Godiva:Alpha. Thanks!
-
Unfortunately one which I could not download was Mini-Cars.
This is sign of God's policy against idiotism in this world. He can shift through unknown forces of internet and cut out link sot games like minicars to prevent you from playing these.
You should be happy you've not seen it, really. Though... This game is legendary.
-
I know that Mini-Cars is legendary, that is precisely the reason I want to review it. A review of TK games would not be a review of TK games without a review of Mini-Cars.
Spyder: Note to self: get Godiva: Alpha patch. OK I will try the ones I could not download again, thankyou.
Dude Man: Good taste! Dark Age 2 is indeed the best TK game ever. Although, I have not played Deceit and Conquest.
Which reminds me: when I try to open the installer for D&C 1+2 I get something about it not being a Win32 application. Is that just me, or is it to do with XP?
-
OK. I am now in a happy mood: Smile Very Happy B) Wink Laughing
Make that a very happy mood. I have just played AMU: Aftermath: The Second War.
AMU: Aftermath: The Second War: I like this game, it is a short demo as yet but it is well done, nice beginning screen, nice music, might be ripped, I do not know, Mwin design works, quite good story, nice and well done graphics, default menu system, no battles as yet, nice information about AMUs (Assault Mech Units), several charachters with different skills, short demo. E-Mail him to say how good it is at krillin21212@yahoo.com
It is short, but encouraging. I do not know its age, but it is nice. No battles, but it is a good taster.
Due to short length and no battles I give it 6/10, I believe if it is updated it will get even better.
-
I have just played Apocoliptium, and I enjoyed it. It is another short demo.
Apocoliptium: by Virtue Software. I enjoyed this nice music from vgmusic.com, nice title screen, quite nice tiles and sprites from tkzone.net, boards are too large, quite good story, quite origional, nicely skinned default menu system but a bit grainy, #MethodGameTime provided by Triuken, game by Christian Young, quite humorous, one board is unescapeable (2nd floor), save works, but when you load you cannot move, default battle system, quite humourous, love (or lust) story. 6/10
-
The Blobs: Chickit Hunt: I enjoyed this. What else can I say?
Blobs: Chickit Hunt: I really enjoyed this. By Luke Wilson. Yay the Blobs! Nice title screen, nice music possibly ripped, good introduction, nicely skinned default menu system, nice simplistic and cartoony tiles, very fun, some tiles from default tile selection, balanced gameplay with default battle system, very origional, very fun, extremely fun. 7/10.
A nice, short COMPLETE game.
-
Dude Man: Good taste! Dark Age 2 is indeed the best TK game ever. Although, I have not played Deceit and Conquest.
Okay you must get that game! Just to get demo 1 takes 4 hours but it's worth it man! I just got it really early today at 1:00 am. The BS is even better then the 4thDemetion one. The cut scens are like watching a movie! But however the message window is still good but I have to say the DA2 one is better. The menu isn't as good as DA2 ether. But still it's a really good game and I've barely started playing it!! It's as good as DA2 but in different ways. Okay so you might wanna get that game dude!
-

That game is so funny! I love it! I can't wait untill I get my game up for download so you can rate it. (But it's my 1st game so don't expect some DA2 or D&C game or something)
-
Well, I downloaded D&C chapter 1 and it would not work, and chapter 1+2 did not even install, it said the applicationwas not a Win32 application.
Dude Man, if I can get, hopefully on MS, I guarantee I will review it eventually.
Currently I am playing Chimeran Empire. It is so fun and addictive. Play it people, it is good. I will post the review when I have finished it.
Wait, I will post the review now! Very Happy
Chimeran Empire: Swordsoft. Nice music (ripped?), OK Start menu, nice story build up, nice tiles, nicely skinned default menu system, nice animated tiles, default battle system with quite balanced battles, some default tiles, nice and cartoony, good story, quite addictive. Unfinished. 9/10
Play it people!
-
Well, I have finished playing Demo1 of Chimeran Empire, and it is quite long for a first demo. It was very enjoyable Smile
I am about to play Chrono Fantasy. See you later.
-
Chimeran Empire is cool. But damn. I have nothing against graphics ripped from FF-style games, or other SNES-stuff... But item graphics are from DIABLO 2. It absolutely, totally furies me. Guys from Blizzard would kill Chimeran Empire's makers if they would know. Also, I've seen this possible to download there. And in file size of 32x64 it looks like WORST CRAP.
Other than this, game rules.
-
Chimeran Empire rules, especially when compared to Chrono Fantasy:
Chrono Fantasy: by Steven Choi (Awesome Computing?). Nice title screen, nice music (ripped?), OK story build up, standard style story, many default tiles, default battle system, battles hard, boring boards, some default music, annoying bug after death, resting appears not to work, difficult to survive early on, boring game, seems there are no origional tiles. 4/10.
Awful game, boring boring boring dull. The only redeeming feature is that the (ripped/default) tiles are OK.
Do not play this game, especially if you are suicidal already, like Cesque. Only play it if very bored.
I am going to play Corey's quest soon.
-
Okay, so you say I should try it? Wink
No, really... If it's crap, I'll leave it where it is. But I might download the BLOBS you talk about...
*** my reviews of best games ***
Dark Age 2
Story - Interesting, but involves some known motives and is quite predictable... 9/10, don't get offended.
Graphics - Never seen better. 10/10.
Features - Everything is original... Cool. 10/10.
Playability - Very good. 10/10.
Originality - As for story, game is not very original, but the design is unique. 8/10.
Dark Age
Story - Very good. Very, very good. 10/10.
Graphics - Ripped, mostly. But good anyway. 8/10.
Features - Very good done BS moves, through with default BS. 8/10.
Playability - Very good, still sometimes is boring (tunnels etc). 9/10.
Originality - Not best, but also not worse. Has enough originality for 8/10.
4th Dimension
Story - Good. I like it. But a bit odd. 9/10.
Graphics - Very good, original. A bit, well... Look at DA2 for comparision. They lack shading and overal "feel" you're in game world, and not only staring at it. 8/10.
Features - Very good BS. Good music. 10/10.
Playability - Very good. And tons of funny things to check, like in town. 9/10.
Originality - As for sci-fi, not best. Propably somewhere in the future will involve time travel. But the bad guy rocks, as is very unique. 7/10.
Deceit & Conquest
Story - Quite good, about war. It only lacks the "feel" of real war. You can't feel you're on a war, simply. I like Order of Demose, hehe. 8/10.
Graphics - Good. 9/10.
Features - Nice BS, well done. 9/10.
Playability - Hmmm. Game is very interesting, yet still in some places repeatitive. 9/10.
Originality - Not best, but does not follow typical RPG system. 9/10.
DustBall
Story - Absolutely funny. Based on children tale, in non-absolutely-childerish form. Game simply for everyone. 10/10.
Graphics - Very good, original. It's Sophia's work, so all should bow, hehe. 10/10.
Features - Default BS, nice motives like walking on trees. The maze vexes me. 8/10.
Playability - Very good, and is far more from fight-town-fight-town style. It involves sub-quests and is absolutely cool! 10/10.
Originality - Very good. 10/10.
Rudolph's Adventure
Story - Another funny. Somehow lacking, but this game is not really about story. 8/10.
Graphics - Excellent. 10/10.
Features - Original BS based on zelda, and the item system... 10/10.
Playability - Excellent. Similar to DustBall, but even better. Involves logical thinking and some guessing. Adventure game style in RPG. 10/10.
Originality - Very, very original. 10/10.
Minicars
Story - Absolutely perfect. I wouldn't think over better storyline. 10/10.
Graphics - Some are original!!! It's excellent, and the default tiles are used well. 10/10.
Features - Absolutely great ideas involved. 10/10.
Playability - You can play this game for hours, literaly! 10/10.
Originality - 100%. 10/10.
-
Mini-Cars? Have you been impersonated by Dippy?
-
Cesque, how far are you into DA2?
-
Demo Laughing
-
After the demo things start to get very interesting storywise. I do not think you should judge the story of a game on the short version of it.
-
Let's face the truth - some elements are obvious. That Brash is draken, for example. (I've also pryied through the files a bit)
-
I would have thought prying through the files might lessen the enjoyment of the game.
-
I would have thought prying through files is necessary to find all the fractional delays and change them no normal, else the game would become non-playable (character dealt 1 damage with each attack and half of graphics were missing).
Hmm, I downloaded Blobs: Chikit hunt... Not best game I've seen. I'm stuck. Where in the world is residence in which there is guy who has the codes? (none of teleports, not near canyon... nowhere!)
The mini-game is ridicilous. I found password while looking at bitmaps, hehehe.
-
You go out of the town top left, and then find the place on the world map. The idea is that you find it yourself.
I have just played Corey's Quest. It is awefull.
Corey's Quest: by Gobo Games. OK Start menu, average clichéd storyline, good music (ripped?) default menu system, many default tiles, battles are too hard, default battle system, pointless game. 3/10
Do not play this one either.
-
Thanks for a tip.
World map? I see no world map in Blobs: Chickin Hunt! Don't you talk about original blobs? Well, I should try this out.
The game design is not best - officer says over and over again the same text, and gives you radio each time, by far I've collected 3 radios.
(Hmm, I've done some work on my game, I hope I'll survive long enough to put up demo which will not be that bad - I hope, so it might help the reputation of games done with rpgtoolkit... heh, downloaded Xorlak's program, and sounds effects are pretty cool, even with the ripped music I use...)
-
Cesque: from the hotel in Chickit hunt go left then up to the edge and you leave that town and arrive on the world map, you then check out the places there to find the retirement home.
I have decided not to do a review yet on Chrystal of Sould because I found the message window impossible to read after the introduction.
-
I am happy again! I have just played Danger the Dingo by Moonews!
Danger the Dingo: nice music which is ripped, nice start menu, nicely skinned default menu, bug: after saving you cannot move so you have to start game again and load your save, nice graphics, fun, by Moonews with help by TFA. 6/10.
It is quite a fun short demo. Smile
-
Yeah, I've already found the way, but I'm border, really. This game is funny, but Gendin's Adventure is funnier. Too bad it's screwing up on my compie, so I had to grab all files and bind 'em in tk myself. I didn't know what enemies were on which skill levels on board, though, heh, so I guessed that.
Blobs isn't really best game around.
-
Let's face the truth - some elements are obvious. That Brash is draken, for example. (I've also pryied through the files a bit)
Brash is Draken?!?! .....storyruiner....CESQUE!!!.....grrr <_<
-
heh, well its still an awesome story....im still going to get it (dont worry Xorlak)....only when my bloody mom lets me....grr
-
It is a bit more complicated than that Cesque in DA2.
-
Story - Interesting, but involves some known motives and is quite predictable... 9/10, don't get offended.
You pry one tidbit out of the source files and call the story predictable? What are the other six plot twists, then? (Heh...)
-
woah! 6 of them? now i have to buy it now!! heh, and Xorlak, check you messages
-
I think Cesque wants to prove me wrong because I said that DA2 was the best computer game ever.
-
Story - Interesting, but involves some known motives and is quite predictable... 9/10, don't get offended.
You pry one tidbit out of the source files and call the story predictable? What are the other six plot twists, then? (Heh...)
oh well..you cant pry it all out of the source unless you have the whole game...hah Laughing
-
That is indeed true Zeros'.
-
shhhhh! thats what xorlak wants!!! he wants cesque to buy it to try to do just that!!......(dont tell cesque i said this!!)
-
Hehe, yes indeed DarkElite.
Do not expect another review soon people: I will start reviewing Dark Age tomorrow.
-
Other story twists? Hmm, let's see all 7.
1. Brash is Draken.
2. Raze is Brash's brother.
3. Darken takes control over Zhol.
4. Vlade and Rago turn against Brash.
5. Brash has to destroy 4 dragons to get their keys.
6. Granpa and the mages murdered Darken's parents when he was a child.
7. Brash is about to destroy Darken, but he threatens to kill granpa.
8. Darken is really a woman, but it's undetectable because he wears fake moustache.
Heh. Okay, okay. It's 9/10 for the single fact that Brash is draken and it was predictable. Very Happy
Maybe when I'll finish 3rd class of liceum successfuly I'll buy myself DA2. Heh. Because right now, I simply grown out from buying games - I simply download them. My parents generally believe buying games is a waste of money. And we're not too rich anyway. And my mother never trusts sending things via post office. And polish post steals whatever it finds valuable anyway. And I'll soon have a dog so I won't have that much time to seat at TV. And I'm on 3rd place on worst notes in class. And... Hmm, enough, I guess. Very Happy
-
There are several mistakes Cesque. Also, you are probably ruining some of your enjoyment of the game by prying into the files. One more thing:
PARTY POOPER!!
LOL.
-
damn it!!!! quit ruining the god damn story!!!....my God!!!! .......and if Brash IS Darken, and Darken is a girl....how can Brash be a girl?
-
He has a point Cesque.
-
Heh, who said you must read it? Okay, okay. I'll explain... Brash is not Darken. Brash is draken. It's Darken that is a girl.
-
oh! you mean A draken? or the leader of them...ok...now i understand why that was predictable....thats what i thought he would be too
-
No, a normal draken. As far as I know. Simply a type of creature which can alter his form between man and dragon.
-
Other story twists? Hmm, let's see all 7.
1. Brash is Draken.
2. Raze is Brash's brother.
3. Darken takes control over Zhol.
4. Vlade and Rago turn against Brash.
5. Brash has to destroy 4 dragons to get their keys.
6. Granpa and the mages murdered Darken's parents when he was a child.
7. Brash is about to destroy Darken, but he threatens to kill granpa.
8. Darken is really a woman, but it's undetectable because he wears fake moustache.
Heh, nice try...
-
sweet! so there are more!?!? yes!! Laughing and cesque...is you find them out...DONT TELL US!!! i wanna find out myself when i get it
-
Okay, okay. Sorry for already-spoiling-most-of-your-game, heh...
Strange, but I never panic when I spoil my game. Even in BoF2 when I found out on the net the "church" is actually evil (what was the main problem of the game), I wasn't amazed.
-
Meh. It is still a great game.
-
I am reviewing DA today.
-
Actually I will be leaving the games I know to be long to last, so that I can get more reviews done beforehand, but I will eventually review every single TK game (I must be strong).
-
Ah... Dustball
Dustball: By Sophia Yun-Fang Hsu, Game Studio 43. Nice menu, good funny story, origional, great beautiful graphics, main charachter a cat, fun quests, nice music (ripped?), very fun game. 10/10.
My first 10/10! Who would not love this game?
Next I will be reviewing Dawn of the Dead.
-
The Blobs: Chickit Hunt: I enjoyed this. What else can I say?

woo glad you liked it! Very Happy
and if you liked Chickit Hunt, try Christmas Catastrophe (http://http://www.impossibleprod.geahost.com//Christmas%20Catastrophe/TheBlobsXmasCatastrophe.zip) - Better than Chickit Hunt i'm told Razz
-
When will Annihiliation be finished?
-
i just got a question about rpg central...is anyone actaully downloading? just wondering Razz
-
Why is the question here?
-
When will Annihiliation be finished?

Animals can't drink alcohol.
Animals can't drink alcohol too much.
Four legs (or two legs and wings) good, two legs bad.
Four legs good, two legs better.
Every animal is equal.
Every animal is equal, but some are equaler than the others.
That's what I remember... There was also something about not wearing clothes... But I don't remember what it became later.

Aslo there was:
No animal should kill another animal.
This became:
No animal should kill another animal, without cause.
