Hmmm, I sent an email to cameron@mysticsoftware.net (http://mailto:cameron@mysticsoftware.net). Also, I notice that you plan on making a new resource site. I assume you already read the Terms of Agreement on hosting for Mystic Software, and that you will not be hosting your resource site on the account I provided.

DarkElite: it is:
ftp://username.mysticsoftware.net (http://ftp://username.mysticsoftware.net)

Then you log in, and it becomes:
ftp://mysticsoftware.net@username.mysticsoftware.net (http://ftp://mysticsoftware.net@username.mysticsoftware.net)

I hope that answers your question.

I use... (through it actually seems broken as I can't enter it) Sad

Put up ftp.mysticsoftware.net as ftp, as user login your-name@mysticsoftware.net and as password the password you use. Leave the other space (whatever it was) blank. That's as I remember it.

actually it should be just mysticsoftware.net, not ftp.mysticsoftware.net, as there is no such sub-domain, but if it works, no need to fix it  Very Happy

You mean ftp:// as a replacement for http://?
Title: (no subject)
Post by: Spyder on February 15, 2004, 07:00:19 AM
no. Though you can use the address ftp://www.mysticsoftware.net (http://ftp://www.mysticsoftware.net) to log into your site using Internet Explorer. Make sure you have IE 5.5+ and it should work. It'll take a few seconds, and then a window will pop up asking for your username and password, after you enter them in, it will take a bit again, then it will display your account as if you were viewing it right in Windows Explorer. You can add, delete, and rename files just like they were on your computer. Can't edit them like that though, but you can replace them by dragging files from Windows Explorer to Internet Explorer. This is how I usually do FTP, other than if I'm using DreamWeaver.
