Post by: Spyder on February 29, 2004, 05:05:52 PM: Thanks again for being patient as we moved servers. Just to bring everyone out of the dark, the old Mystic Software server was a Heavy Rack, which provided 700MB's of space and 30GB's of bandwidth at a cost of $25/month. It provided unlimited FTP and Sub-Domain accounts as well. The current server is a Light Rack, which only provides 400MB's of space and 15GB's of bandwidth, at $10/month. Unfortunately it also limits us to a total of 10 FTP and Sub-domain accounts on the server, which is why no ones sub-domains or FTP logins work. Not only did we move Mystic Software to a new server and delete the old one, but we purchased two additional Special Racks. Each of these adds 1000MB's of filespace, and 50GB's of bandwidth to MS. The MSGames server is a Special Rack as well. In total, Mystic Software now has 3400MB's of space, and 165MB's of bandwidth per month. Right now were using about 1300MB's of space, and barely a fraction of the bandwidth, but that's sure to change as more games get released, and more resources uploaded to the site via the new PHP design, which Matt72186 has been hard at work on. As far as everyone's accounts go, I'll get working on them later today, and tomarrow, and emailing or PMing you with your new account info. If you can not access your site right now using http://www.mysticsoftware.net/username/ (http://http://www.mysticsoftware.net/username/) please let me know immidiately!. All sites should work using that format, you just can't upload to them or use sub-domains (ie mrgoldsoft.mysticsoftware.net). Also let me know if the current site on MS is an old version. Rackhost.net doesn't do backups every night, and I think the current files could be up to two weeks old, or more. I have current versions of everything that was on MS up until the day it went down, and can re-upload it for you if requested. Feel free to reply with any questions, suggestions, etc.
