It seems that there are getting many more good, and bad artists, in the community, as the membership rises. The people who have the most effect are generally the good artists, since they amaze us with their screenshots. This is good for their games, and probably makes them nicer to play. However, is it good for the community as a whole?
Undoubtedly good artists inspire others to try to emulate them, but what of the bad artists or those who have to work hard to create something decent? Do they work amazingly hard to create something which is close to what good artists do quickly, or do they fall down to apathy or depression after failing to emulate them. Do they do both periodically?

As old poem says
Every single damn artist is a piece of shit,
They sell their crap and want money, being consumed by greed!
So - no! We need to track down the new artists and before they'll become more skilled, kill them in some stealthy assasination method not to anger the public.
-
That's just sick!

No, it's required for the overall level of prosperity to increase by 2.5%.
Read "The Prince" by Machiavelli.

Okay then. It's just that mt GF wants to be an artist and all. So anyways, Being an Artist is just another job, but a little different and easier!

Now, could you people get back to the topic?

Of course! You know any better way around? Laughing
Hehehe. I think Cesque was joking.
Really? Oh. Maybe.
Hmm. You're somehow right, Haraldur, it can be seen on tkzone forums - new artists somehow abandon hopes seeing the won't get better. But everyone starts from simple things, so I believe they can learn from the skilled artists. It's good to have both skilled and unskilled in the community. Oh well.

I know that I get depressed about it...
