I am back from a long trip to Africa. That is why I havent been seen around lately. I still havent started work on my game because TK3 vers. 1 is not out yet. Sorry this post os so short, I will post another, more detailed one later.
-
Okay, here we go. I will be needing help with my game (Demonic Darkness) and if anyone would like to help they can ask me and they will get their name in the credits (Better than just my name anyway). And I don't need character design (Directed at MOTD). lol. Paper is not that expensive MOTD. lol.
-
Very Happy, RIGHT ON!!!!
I can get 100 sheets of 94 - 24 Paper, for just about $10.00.
Don't know where MOTD shops, but it sure isn't Dick Blick Razz
As for the game, sorry. I'm working on my own game.... well ..... um.... sort of, so I'm kinda preoccupied, but I'd be glad to help ya if you need something small.
-
Well, it's also for spending cash...
And here, white paper IS rather expensive. $7 for 84 sheets.
-
lol. But do you need 84 sheets for one character? I doubt it. Oh, unless it is a real life size character, like a dragon, 1:1 scale. lol. Although you would probobly charge alot for that. I actually like the idea though. Designing characters for other people and making a bit of money while doing it.
-
Well, I usually go through about 5 sheets per design...it's just part of the process
-Clothing
-Rough Draft of the Layout
-Create Hairstyle and Weapons
-Rough Draft of Layout and Clothes/Hair/Weapons
-Final
Then it is scanned into photoshop where it is cleaned up, colored, and shaded.
-
Okay, long process. But in the end you get paid and the person who needs a character gets one.
-
umm....
If it is that big of a problem, why don't you just use basic wide ruled paper to doodle and get the basic look of it.... then use that design on your character.
Then just use the Rough Draft of Layout, Clothes, hair, and their weapons as a transfer template over to a better piece of art paper, then use the same sheet to work the final. All you'd need is your K. Eraser and your inkers. Razz

Let's end this discussion since I've decided that freelancing isn't going to do me much good. I'm gonna put up a new site soon to cover my RPG projects, as well as the Final Fantasy 7 site (as soon as it's COMPLETE, I'll make a FF8 and FF9 one Smile )
-
I can't wait for the FF sites

A little bit of subject, but since I am not a moderator, I will have to allow it.
-
