Post by: Trent on May 05, 2004, 04:37:49 PM
I have completed Demo 2 of my game, Fighter's Fury. Those who have played Demo 1, I assure you, this release is a HUGE improvement. I just uploaded it to the MS Games server, so a link on the MS website should come soon. But for now...

Fighter's Fury Demo 2 (http://http://eon.ssxh.net/ffury/FFury_Demo2.exe)

I definitely rushed this release... Stupid me. -_- But it's definitely playable, and seems stable enough. Let me know of any bugs, any problems, difficulties, or anything that just doesn't seem right.

Enjoy! ^_^

heh, i must say, this game is preety cool! the voices are amazing, and the battle system is good (but there's and error in it, you should have #SetImageTrasparent instead of #SetImage so you dont see the bkgd of the pictures)!!! i give it an 8.3/10!!! well done!!  B) that's exelent considering it uses ripped graphics and music!! (but you might want to consider making a patch with charater updates....sorry if that hurts you....)

Heh, I would say my opinion, but the fact I was downloading it doesn't mean I'm gonna play it, lol. Lazy, ain't I?

And the download was quite short, propably it even got a crash and ceased.

Thank you for the compliment, DarkElite! I didn't use #SetImage. I used #SetImageTransparent. My friends at school also reported transparency problems... x_x And the music's original, except for the FF Victory fanfare. Crap. I really should make my own victory fanfare.

That will all be in the next bugfix release.

Note that if an error prevents you from advancing through Spring City (Repeating conversation), then you need to re-download the demo.

how did you get the voice recordings to sound ....un-fuzzy?

1. A good microphone helps.
2. Don't get too close to the microphone. And make sure you talk OVER the mike, not at it. Because if you do, you get wind noise.
3. If 1 and 2 fail, I go in with Audacity, get a Noise Profile from some of the fuzzy, and do Noise Removal.

Yes you did Dark Elite.

Dude your game is soo funny and soo cool. I however did NOT have ANY transparency probloms! Boo yeah! However I know you will probally never change it but it would be more funny if they said (Editor: Censored) instead of feck heh Laughing ....
