... but if you're reading this you probably know that. Smile

Looks good.
PHP, eh? What did you use to design it? Been thinking of a site redesign myself.
(By the way, the hit counter increases with every page you view... very clever, heh...)

Yes, I noticed that, I really should ammend that rather than falsify myself ...
As for editor, plain and simple, notetab light. Very functionable ... if not very specific for particular jobs.
PHP should definately be a consideration though Xorlak, you'd learn it in 10 seconds flat (it has similarities to RPGCode) and site design would be much easier. For example, my entire news script is all stored in one text file andd individual updates are stored on different lines.
Or you could learn MySQL in conjunction with PHP and make life much easier. Smile

... and the benefits of losing a lot of cookies due to profile corruption on Windows 2000 ... that was me above.
-
Personally, I'd rather stick with HTML for Web Design.
-
HTML or a sitebuilder, if the site you signed up with has one
-
No!!!
I can't stand using HTML!!!!
It's so.... so..... AHH!!!
It lacks all creative attributes... adding in Java / Javascript / CSS / et cetra only spiffs it up a bit.... PHP, mySQL, and CGI. Now those are the ways to build a site....
*remembers good old days*
Trigunasha ->
Don't ever, EVER!! use a stupid WYSIWIG editor... Those are dumber then just using regular HTML.

What are you getting at? The site is HTML ... with PHP added in for good measure to make updates and alterations easier?

I think I will look into that. Thanks.

I mean STRAIGHT HTML. No PHP or any fancy crap other than CSS.
-
I don't even use CSS. Cant be bothered. I just spend a long time figuring out what the hell to do.

Heh ... if you look at my source code ... you'll see what PHP does ... it interprets what HTML to be displayed at a particular time depending on what the user has chosen, etc ... everything is all displayed on the index page, for example, with includes as the seperate pages. PHP isn't fancy at all, it just makes loife that much easier.

I love PHP (Good Call on Rueben's Part with the site) only my main problem with it, is that it is rather hard to find a site that will actually allow you to use it.... well a host that's free... I'm not about to shell out cash just to be hosted somewhere. -_-
-
Allright, just get Dreamweaver. That'll kick ass for ya. If you don't want to register, you can always get the hacked version off Kazaa.

There's Tripod ... ads galore but it works ... otherwise CyWeb (http://www.cywh.com) offer good cheap hosting.
-
true... true.
CyWeb is rather cheap hosting... I'll have to look into that.
Though, as for right now, I'm using a little old place called spaceports... not the best in the world, but it's alright. Plus they have fewer ads than tripod ^_^.
-
Fair enough ... I think my brother was on them for a bit until he was offered space on a paid account for free. Lucky little ... Wink
-
lol,
some people have all the luck. ^_^
-
Luck, luck, what I'm not chock full of... Freewebz allows PHP, I think, doesn't it?
-
only for paying customers... but I haven't been there in nearly a year and a half.
-
Well, I have free FTP web-hosting 20Megs. It's kick ass. I use Front Page to upload 2. Laterz
