If you are interested in pre-ordering a copy of the first novel in the series, you may click the link above. There's quite a bit that I am including with this pre-order.
I hope you'll stop by.

Thanks guys.

Man, that's awesome to see you actually finish at least one part of series and planning to release it and publish it yourself... I'm sure this has a been a dream of yours for awhile, and it's great to see you accomplish it.  If I can talk my dad into letting me use his credit card, I'll pre-order a copy... though he's had some really bad experiences with online purchases lately, possibly because of me, so not sure if it's gonna happen... Sad

Anyway, great job following through, and best of luck to making some sort of profit out of it all.

And yes, I'm still MrB everyone, I was just too lazy to register the new name... Razz

Actually, if it's for a book, my mom might be willing to put out another $27...heh.

Wait, no...right now that money is for me to see Harry Potter 3 (yes, I'm a Potter fan, so what?)

I'll probably pre-order it sometime in August.

I won't order a copy  Razz

My parents have been cheated few times on "we'll send you this via mail" sales, so they shun internet / mail salling services like plague. I never used it, too.

I'd better firsat convince 'em to buy me DA2, so keep one copy left, Xorlak, in case you'll abandon selling  Very Happy

Hey Cy, is this bein self-published, or is it through a normal publisher?  If so, which one?
Title: (no subject)
Post by: Cyrus on June 07, 2004, 10:28:00 PM
I'm self publishing the first prints in order to secure myself better with a publishing house once I get to that step. This is part of the reason that I need the money for the pre-orders.

I looked into going with a publishing house first and skipping this step entirely but after talking with quite a few people who were very helpful, I concluded that it was best to prove that the series I am writing has marketability before hand.

More than one publisher told me that this was a good idea and since I was so insistant on maintaining creative control and control of the artwork and such... I agreed.

We'll see how it all works out in the end though.

If nothing else, this should be a lot of fun.
...and I can release my book when I want to.
heh

Cyrus: you should have got an order from someone called .... That is my dad. Therefore, it is me, hehe. For the "Special Thanks" do you want the forum name or real name, as in: do you want to use my full name or not?

I'd prefer to use people's actual names.

There would be two ss in Mareksson. Mareks is the genitive form of Marek, and the son is, well, son.
