I've noticed before that whenever someone has a plugin with their game, that whenever you try to run the game, it will ask mnif the person want to use the plugin...is there any way to make it so that it will never ask this?

(I have the Power House edition, and I am going to use DragSound.)

It's sort of a safeguard against viruses, etc. If someone put a plugin that ran a virus into a registered game, CBM could easily find out who it was, that is why it does not ask you if you want to use the plugins or not.

Or at least that was my understanding of it.

Don't you mean, that's why it DOSE ask you if you wish to use a plug-in? You said dose NOT....I think....Um....let me check...

Yes....yes you did.....NYE!

No, I said that's why the registered version does not ask you if you want to use the plugins or not. It automatically uses them because if someone put in a virus into their game on a PowerHouse game, Chris would easily be able to find out exactly who it was that owned the game.

That's what I thought too.

But TK3 doesn't ask you at all.

I think it was more of another reason to buy the PH version.

Possibly. Do TK2 plugins even work with TK3? Is there a Dev Kit for TK3 plugins even out? If the answer for both of these is no, then I don't think it matters that it doesn't ask you in TK3 Razz . Besides, technically someone could just remove that portion of the program from the source code; add the virus code into the TK source code, re-compile, and release their game without plugins, and the virus built right into the Toolkit couldn't they? Kind of scary when you think about it
