Ah... OK. It is just that it says I get "skill points" and I do not know how to use them. Also, on pressing backspace I get a useless default menu.

Also, where can you buy items?

Easy, Haraldur, easy...  Laughing

First of all, shopping is not yet implemented.

Second of all, you don't use skill points directly, you have to find trainer and talk with him to open a small talent menu, where you choose talents you can buy (usually 2-3 per trainer) using your skill points.

The only trainer now in game is Samir the thief, who teaches you speech, lockpicks and barter (among these, only speech talent is useful now), but you can't learn these for 2 reasons:

- Samir only teaches you after defeat of Rat God, and game ends after this
- Samir is not yet put into a tavern in which he's supposed to be, as far as I am oriented

This demo is mainly for show of graphics and basics of my game. I'm on a way to complete in-battle item use system (which is FAR from out-of-battle equip/unequip item system), propably I'll make nice graphical interface for battle too (but still, you will choose options with 1-9 numeral keys), finish another quest in village (killing Zila) and I'll make another demo.

As for the things you pointed in your review...

- Lack of sound effects is because I forgot installing patch to my toolkit, and propably game inherited same manner of playing only background music

- Temple is a trap board? Strange. I made programs to get out of it... Either I didn't put them in or something's really bugged.

- Music which doesn't loop is NOT my bug, it's like this in later toolkit versions

- The default menu? I had no idea it was in, propably it was there once but I wanted to delete it by choosing key it was activated by and pressing "backspace", lol...

- What should be the story build-up for some rat who nested in tunnels near tavern's cellar?! The Rat God explains all he can himself. With speech skill, you can even ask him a question before he attacks, but of course due to my lack of consequence it is impossible to get this skill before battle with Rat God... fool me Smile

(the real story begins with the quest to kill Zehneratt, and this is not implemented in demo yet...)

- Character graphic dissappearing... strange. I'll check this. Propably missing bitmap files. I'm doing new graphics for new paladin look anyway...

That's it.

For the prison board, it might just have been my computer having a glitch, but I could not get out.

Whether or not it is your bug or not, music is still a bug and should be pointed out in a review.

It shouldn't. It's not my fault whenever toolkit 2.20 latest version has auto-loop of music or not. I believe even latest version of Dark Age (1) had this bug. And I lose valuable points in review for this  B)

(at least I have redraw button for this, ha!)

And the temple as prison board has simple teaching: Religions imprison people to their beliefs to eat their souls. Munch, munch. You can't get out of our chuuuurch...
