I'm currently developing a small browser-based ActiveX chatroom.

I'm not leaving the server on for long, but PLEASE take a look. The main thing I need to know is if it works. It seems to not work for the odd person; tell me if that;s you.

Thanks.

How long do you have to wait? I selected yes to install the component.

Me too... And resigned, it seems to either download forever or has some bug.

Heh, as Dan said in relation to this chat at TKZ forums...

"Don't use a Mac or Linux machine to view.
- Don't use a decent browser, only IE.
- Lower all IE's security settings to allow unsigned ActiveX applets to download/install/run.
- Switch of your firewall, allowing incoming and outgoing connections to unverified servers.
- If it still doesn't work, it's your fault. "

Basically meaning - it's a crappy chat right now.

Hmm... either it's 3rd thing (security) or it's my fault.

Who needs the chat which doesn't work in 90% of cases anyway?

Just turn off ALL your security making your compute vunerable to attack and abuse, and wait about 20 minutes for install - simple!

Heh. Silly chat.

It's because the server wasn't on that time.

It should be working better now.
