Post by: Anonymous on September 28, 2003, 02:15:54 AM
Hi Sophia. What can I do, I want to use your tiles (from Dustball Demo) in my game. I'am creating my own game now and I really
want your tiles. Do I have to wait untill the full version of Dustball is out? Or can I use them now?
One thing that you should know is that theres no folders when I extracting Dustball, just one large exe file so I cant
find your tile set in your game, so I took some screen shot (alt+Prt Scr) and then I used a program that transforemed
them into tiles. I tryed to make my own house tiles but it's to hard, so I hope that I can use them in my game.
I dont use the forest or anythiing els, just the house tiles.
If you like to, I can have your webpage on the credtis, and I live in Sweden and then many people will look on your site.
Please Sophia Hsu.....I hope very much...

Sophia defeated  ^_^

Of course, the easiest thing is to just paint each background individually in PhotoShop, so as to create much more detailed backgrounds like those in Secret of Mana  B)

"Laziness...another side effect of having a huge-ass crush on Sophia."

(I could be wrong, but hey, I could be right as well.)

"William, go for someone in your own age group...and don't let message board lust happen to you."

What? Have you no intelligent sense of humor that doesn't revolve around insults and dirty jokes?

REad this:
The Crystal

A Magic Crystal was once in the ancient ages created in the deep caves of Uraahl, hundreds of miles underneath the surface of Earth, by a mighty evil wizard by the name of Alagondar. His purpose was to create an artefact powerful enough to give its owner ultimate power to rule the world. But the crystal became more powerful than Alagondar had expected and more powerful than he could handle; it got an own will, and as the time past it made Alagondar insane. Ages later, the crystal did no longer want to be a property of Alagondar; it wanted a new master and one day it fell down into a deep pond inside the cave and when Alagondar did no longer have his crystal, he died and the crystal was forgotten.

But the crystal had its own will, and it wanted to be found, once again.

At the same time, Radmon gathered his evil forces in Layakin and they grew stronger for every day; he had decided to defeat the town of Shan, which was the last hope of the mankind. The crystal considered Radmon powerful enough to become its new master, and it decided to find Radmon, and so it did. He did then get ultimate power and built the largest and most powerful army the world of Layakin had ever seen, but it did also infect his mind. The army was not enough, he wanted to transform the crystal into a headpiece of a rod, but that was more than the crystal wanted, but neither of them did fully succeed. The crystal fell apart into five pieces, which each had equal power and Radmon died.
Zarmus, an evil Sorcerer, did then take control of the army but realized the danger of the crystal and placed the pieces of the crystal into five Fortresses.
When Zarmus marched towards the town of Shan he took a shortcut through the ancient caves of Uraahl and did by mistake find an ancient scroll in which it was written how the evil mind of the crystal could be removed. Zarmus right hand, the wizard Darzlow, became jealous and wanted to become the Ruler of the World instead of Zarmus; hence, he killed him and started searching for the crystals himself. The only problem was that he did not know were the fortresses were located. He took control over the army and ordered parts of it to start searching for the crystals?

The rumours about the crystal spread through the world of Layakin and reached the town of Shan. Jonny, the King of Shan, did immediately draw the conclusion that the crystals were their only hope because they could never defeat the army Radmon once had created. Jonny established an academy and started to train the best warriors of Layakin in hope of finding the right one who would start searching for the crystals and lead the power of light into the clash against the dark and evil forces.

In the forest just outside Shan, someone did live who heard about this, that person decided to help Jonny and started training at the academy; that someone was you?..

Ok, just leave me the title.

And thank you for not taking my idea for a main character of High Elf and Dark Elf descent (yeah, we all know how weird that kind of character is)

Yes, I'm good with RPGCode...true, I'm no Xorlak, but I'm still better than half you newbies out there. Eternal EoN has been using the TK longer than I have, and I'm still better than he is.

Newbies... Yep. Hope I don't classify  Laughing

Not mentioning Xorlak helping me out with thew damn branches, only problems I have are related to some strange bugs that seem more tk than code. Like the damn things that came along with 2.2 (in 2.1 or something they were no such things, but they weren't animated tiles either)

AND THE ALL GODS DARN FRACTION BUG...!!!
