KSN and Dudeman are correct. Admin is a group name, which consists of everyone that is an administrator. This is so whenever we gain new staff, I don't have to manually add them to every forum. To be honest, I don't even think I need the Admin group there, but either way...

OK, check out my PHPSite at <a href='http://www.imaginethefantasy.com/PHPSite' target='_blank'>http://www.imaginethefantasy.com/PHPSite</a>
and my forum at
<a href='http://www.imaginethefantasy.com/forum' target='_blank'>http://www.imaginethefantasy.com/forum</a>

Ok, I got this program called PHPNuke. It uses the phpBB forums. This program uses one of my mySQLdatabases.  I am also using the IBForums program separetly, which, as you know, uses it's own SQLDatabase too. What I want to do is replace the phpBB, which is part of the bigger PHPNuke, With the IBForums.  because ibForums are a LOT nicer.  I donno if u know, but it would be awesome...

Ah, you'd really have to talk to one of the other staff members about that; but it looks like phpBB is integrated into your PHPNuke program, which means you'd probably have to do some recoding to integrate IPB, or just change the Forums link to link to your IPB forum, instead of it bringing up the phpBB.

I tried that, but it don't work.  See, the PHPNuke program has it's own members thing, that integrates with the phpBB, so when you log into the site, you are also logged into the forums.  It's actually kinda neat.  I just wish I could figure it all out.  I downloaded the two today at school, but didn't have enough time to modify the programs enough to integrate them.  it's WAY to much codeing for me, considering I know NOTHING about PHP scripting Sad

so here is my call:

To Anyone who can fix my php stuff, you will Get 25Megs in our domain for your own personal use for a year, credit on the pages, and moderator status in the forums, snd some other cool perks too.  Oh, and if you want, I can send you the Macromedia Suite!!!  Just for helping out.   Wink
