Post by: Mark of the Dragon on September 01, 2004, 03:45:13 PM
Things have gotten way out of hand between my mother and I (and I continue to cut myself as a result). I want to move in with my uncle in Colorado to get away from it, but I need to talk to both of them about it. I don't even know who I should talk to first; much less how I should word it. It's tough...I'm afraid my mom will take offense to it. Suggesetions? Please?

I've answered at TKZ, he he he.

It's not that with a very helpful hint anyway...

Situation in my house isn't best, too, but one can get used to it when it's like that for a longer time.

I don't really buddy. It must be very bad, but I say just give it some time and then everything will be okay, hopefully, you may not think so, but you'd be surprized. Hopefully  .

Steal your mom's car keys, leave her a bad note, pack all your stuff, and drive to colorado. Oh and make sure you have a few hundred bucks.

Oh and don't listen to me. This isn't a good idea.

What's the longest you spent at your uncles?  Just wondering, because if you haven't spent more than a week there, then it's not totally sure if that'd be a good idea.  Things can get bad anywhere, but at least you're familiar with where you are now, moving out to someplace new is a jump, and if it isn't great it'll be harder to get back.

Arn't you 18? Why don't you move out of your house period? Without going to your uncles? Don't give me any of that "I can't afford it" crap either. I moved out of my parents house at 19 with $1300 of money I saved up from 3 months of work. The "only" 3 months I'd worked in my life at that point. Find a roomate. It doesn't have to be a friend. Go to a college, there's probably a long list of people looking for roomates there. Don't pick a chick to roomate with.

I've spent a whole week at my uncle's before. And since I'm pretty familiar with Colorado right now, I wouldn't have a lot of trouble anyways.

I can't wait until I turn 17...then I can see R rated movies without my mom escorting me into the theater Very Happy

And I can buy M rated games without worrying about the whole "we gotta card you" shit!

After the DS, they're going to mold the PS2 into a portable unit with sunglasses as the screen.

The PS2? PSP is already as powerful as the PS2, so hopefully they'll make something more powerful  ^_^

Not really...it's close to the PS2's power, but not entirely there.

If your hitting 35fps in a game that the PS2 hits 36fps in....you might as well say they're equal. I've read that the PSP is even more powerful than the PS2 in some areas.
