Get the TK 3.0.4b Patch at TKZ. This fixes a number of bugs. Hopefully it will make the program work for you Cesque.

Damn, my puter crashed few seconds after opening tk3 folder before I can update the files.

Guess I'll get some XP service pack from shitty Microsoft...

Mine opens up, and that's about it, it dosen't even load, and I can't click any buttons. So did the good ole' Ctrl Alt Delete and then it says TK3 is not responding, and this is WITH the patch, but only the patch I think, the accually one I had to re download...so I'm doing so, see if I have better luck, if I don't then I'm going to be forced to give TK3 a 0/100, in my book....I don't want to have to.

Yeah!!! Works far better now Smile

I still hate the new animation-rather-than-tile item/char system, though. And inability to compose animations from tiles.

Cesque, my friend, you CAN compose animations from Tiles now, just put your tileset it the Bitmap folder and then it's just like makeing animated tiles, but the L thing dosen't work.

Weird... I meant, can you make a let's say, 64x32 anim and fill it with two 32x32 tiles to make a 2-tile based guy?

I've gotta check da new stuff a bit later...

Yeah, I've checked. Looks even nice. I forgot there is no "even nice" word construction in as primitive language as english. Oh well.

I think "even nicer" is correct english, you just needed to add an "r"

Anyways, that's awesome that it's working for both of you. I haven't messed with the character or animation editors yet, as I'm still attempting to get my game to run in TK3, which is proving to be somewhat of a challenge, though, considering it was written with 2.13, it's not all that surprising. It's working little by little. I almost have the first board loading <_<

I tried pixel animation in the demo though, and it seems to run flawlessly. The same goes for multi-tasking. NPC's and characters can move simultaneously with no lag whatsoever on my machine. I was a little disappointed that joystick support isn't actually supported yet. With cursor based menu's, this would definately be a plus to have.

Well, with pixel animation, a working isometric system, and a fully re-written battle system, I think the major new features have been covered, and the team will probably focus more on improving the stability of it now; not to say that that hasn't been one of the main focuses since the beggining of the project.

I didn't meant even nicer.

There is a polish word construction using word "nawet" (even) and an adjective. Adding "even" before a word indicates agreement with the adjective (like saying "nice"), but so-so agreement, when you want to avoid direct expression or you're amazed that something is good, like when commenting some new music album when all previous from it's composer where piece of crap.

Polish a bit complicated Razz

I completely restructured and rewrote most of trans3 for 3.04, it should be much more stable =)
