Xivilai ventured off the path he had been following, and shadow stepped into the shadow of a tree a few feet away.
Walking was too slow.  Besides, shadow stepping was fun.  Always a slight feeling of disorientation.

I need to find a boat to get off this island

Xivilai picked a random direction and started walking.
Anywhere was better than where he was now.

I just search for people to roleplay with, so I'm asking if anyone has a character in Tjedon, and what he's actually doing..

*shrugs* my charry, Xivilai, is up near Tjedon...he's not doing much really..I have to find some tangent to take him off on...

Xivilai kept a careful eye on the road as he walked toward it.  There was no movement.  It made sense.  Why would you waste troops patrolling the road if people can’t even get into the city?

Keeping this in mind, Xivilai slowly stepped onto the road.  He paused, no one shot him.  So far so good.

Deciding that it would just be a waste of time to go up to a city he couldn’t enter, Xivilai turned his back on the city, and started walking deeper into Tjed.

After climbing a particularly high peak, Xivilai looked down and saw Tjedon.  One thing was different though; there was a large green dome around the city.  That could be problematic.  The airships above the city could also prove troublesome.

Well, now what?

Xivilai took stock of his surroundings.  A ways to his left was a road leading down to the shielded city.  The road curved slightly until it was hidden behind a hill.  Deciding that the road should lead somewhere,  Xivilai started picking a path down to the road.

The thought of patrols briefly crossed his mind, but he decided he could deal with those if he happened upon any.

Oh, isn't Xivilai one of those Oblivion races? I mean, those blue guys with horns...

I don't know, I've never played Oblivion =P

// Sorry for not posting for so long, things have been hectic.  Anyways, I should be posting more \

Xivilai was extremely disappointed.  Several rats had gathered around the unconscious form he had been observing, but they didn’t get more than a few nibbles in before the man regained consciousness.  The nibbling must have woken him up.

The man sat up, groggily, looked very confused, and gave a start when he saw he was being eaten by rats.  He quickly jumped up, and promptly fell down again.  He got up again, slower this time, brushed off the rats that had refused to let go, and started limping off in a direction that lead him away from Xivilai’s.  Xivilai toyed with the idea of actually killing him this time, and decided it wasn’t worth the time.

With a sigh, Xivilai turned and continued onward to Tjedon

The ship smashing into a giant rock was the first indication to Xivilai that he had reached land. Being thrown into the wall of the ships cabin confirmed his suspicions.  Xivilai rummaged around the ships hold until he found some rope.  He then tied the rope to the side of the ship and rappelled down.

Once off the ship, Xivilai surveyed the area.  He saw mountains.

Big surprise, this is Tjed after all.

Xivilai vaguely recognized a peak and headed in that direction.  It led to Tjedon.  He needed to find out what happened while he was trapped on Romme.

Besides, it might give me a chance to kill something.

The thought cheered him up considerably as started picking his way towards the mountains.  His spirit was dampened, however, when a bird, with a bolt sticking out of its eye, bounced off his head and fell at his feet.  Xivilai picked it up and looked at it distastefully.

“Hey! That’s my bird” A voice yelled.  Xivilai looked in the direction the voice was coming from and saw an old man running towards him, reloading a crossbow.  “Give that here or I’ll put so many holes in you tha-” He stopped in mid-sentence when he saw Xivilai’s face. He froze.

Xivilai slowly walked towards the man, who started gibbering slightly.  Xivilai grabbed the crossbow out of the man’s quivering hands and smashed the stock of the crossbow into his head.  He dropped like a rock.  Xivilai briefly examined the injury, the skull had been cracked, but the man was still alive.  He reached for his sword, but then stopped.

I wonder what kind of carrion animals Tjed has

Grinning, he kicked the unconscious man once in the side and walked off to find a good vantage point.

I was conscripted by D. Ein into the DAL world =P

I'd like to join the RP, if my charry is acceptable and if no one has any objections...

Anyways, here is my charry

Name: Xivilai

Gender: Male

Race: Unknown

Age: Forgotten

Job: Unknown

Alliance: None (Neutral to all)

Weapons:
Main hand: Bastard Sword
Off hand: Sword breaker

Specializations:  Shadow magic, Bastard sword

Physical Description:  Standing a little over 6’2.  Lean, wears a large hooded cloak that doesn’t move in the wind.  No eyes, skin is black and shriveled.

Bio:

Xivilai was an inhabitant of Romme when it was destroyed by the MDAA.  The interrupted spell ripped apart his body but he managed to cling on to his life-force.  Using his will, he was able to draw in the residual shadow energy and bind it to himself.  He was a sentient ball of shadow energy, chained to Romme’s blasted ruins.  Having thought himself condemned to this fate, Xivilai was extremely shocked when Romme reappeared beneath him after Gaia cast the world healing spell.
The healing spell hardened the shadow energy to which was bound, causing it to solidify into a physical entity.  Xivilai was then stuck on the island until a band of looters arrived, searching for valuables they could sell.  After killing the looters, Xivilai stole their boat, and shoved off with it.  After a week of drifting, he crashed onto the southeastern part of Tjed.

Abilities
Dark Shredder:  Xivilai draws upon shadow energy which is then shattered and propelled into the target.  While doing no physical damage, it completely shreds any dark magical energy attached to the target.

Soul gorge:  If the brain and heart of a recently dead victim, or a victim drawing its last terminal breath, is mixed into a stew and then consumed, it will give a portion of the soul’s strength to Xivilai

Blackout:  Creates a dark magical barrier around Xivilai that briefly negates mild damage.

Shadow step:  Xivilai is able to fade away into any shadow, which is roughly his size or larger, and fade back into existence in shadow a short distance away.

Caustic blood:  The blood of Xivilai will corrode metal within 30 minutes if not cleaned off.

Heart of Shadows:  As Xivilai shadow grows, his shadow power increases.

Sight beyond sight:  Xivilai has no eyes, but can see like a hawk in light or darkness

Acidic saliva: Xivilai’s saliva is acidic, and will burn through flesh, wood, cloth, and leather, but will barely dissolve stone, and has no affect on metal.

Edits: Slight touch up..
