General Discussion / Re: Server Move and MS Hosted Sites
« on: October 05, 2008, 01:25:20 AM »
It shouldn't be much hassle at all. We've talked about keeping certain sites up just for nostalgia's sake. It's simply a matter of transferring the files, and setting up your FTP access and sub-domain again. All very easy stuff.

Dark Age Games / Hey kids, how's it going?

I don't want to think about how long it's been since I signed in here... lol. Good to see this board is still getting some use... and frankly, that it still works. How are things on the DA front?

Man, when you told me the other day that it was working, I thought you meant the .com, and not the .net. Kept wondering why it still wasn't working for me, lol.

Yeah, Domain names are typically separate from hosting accounts. We'd actually be able to get to TKZ if we knew the IP address, though you wouldn't be able to log-in. Vampz had turned thesixthzone.com into an alternate URL, but it expired months ago, and again, you couldn't log in from there either. I Text Messaged Vampz yesterday about it, but I honestly don't even know if that's his current cell number, so I don't know if he got it or not. I'm sure he'll realize it soon enough, if he hasn't already.

General Discussion / RPG Toolkit 3.1.0 released
« on: October 01, 2007, 12:00:03 PM »
Octember has finally arrived. In case you missed it yesterday, TK 3.1.0 has finally been released after being in development for over a year. This is easily the greatest release since 3.0, and brings changes that were at one time only dreamed about, such as Vector Collision. The engine has also been completely re-written in C++, which should allow a dramatic in speed of both the engine itself, and aid programmers in releasing even greater improvements in the future. Make sure you check the official release out at The ToolkitZone.

I also hear that 3.0.7 will be released at the OTR tomorrow.
Coming from a developer, I'll take that as an official announcement Razz

General Discussion / Toolkit Zone Offline
« on: June 26, 2007, 05:35:28 AM »
As you probably already know, TKZ has been taken offline by the hosts due to some sort of bug in either ther servers, or TKZ's coding, and it's possible that TKZ may have to change hosts before coming back online, though I know Xavier is doing everything he can to avoid that situation. For now, this will become the main place for TKZ discussion. Xavier will put a link on the error page routing people here so they can keep up with the status of the site, as well as continue discussion as they normally would at TKZ. Please be patient until Xavier can bring the site back online. Thank you.

I was kind of expecting a small surge of activity here what with TKZ down. Guess they all went to the OTR. Anyone temporarily getting their forum fix here?

Hmm, I suppose all the streets, but many of the others have lots of shading and stuff on them, so it's not as obvious. The two shown above are very white though. I don't know if blue or red would be a tint I would choose... perhaps grey...

Honestly though, if it's not bothering anyone, don't change it at all.
