I've been using TK since a little before TK 2.20 came out.  I never posted much on the boards at rpgtoolkit.com, but I did some.  I just can't remember if my name was Firestorm 2 or just Firestorm though...

No, Neo Tokyo was the first resource site for the TK community, before MS or TKZ existed. If I remember right, they only carried tilesets, but back then, web space was a bit scarce, so that's not too surprising. Besides, there was a whole 10-15 people in the community, and vast amounts of resources weren't really a neccesity. The old community was great. Imagine a community about the size of the one here at MS, only we were all making games, and there was little to no off-topic conversation at all. Everything was about the TK and the games made with it. As Zerzic said, good times Razz . Not that I'm saying off-topic chat is a bad thing, but this community has changed dramatically from what it was 6-7 years ago. Some things for the better, some for the worse.

Heh. Spyder, exactly how long have you been in the community?  And what was the domain to Neo-Tokyo? I wanna check it out at archive.org!  Razz

I have no idea what the domain was. It wasn't a top level domain like neo-tokyo.com though, I'm sure of that. If you can pull up an old Links page from the old TK website, you "might" be able to find it, but I'm almost sure I've searched for it before, and it didn't pull anything up. I've been in the community since ~1998, not long after TK2.0 was first released.

I've been around since about October 2001 or something. TK 2.18 or 2.19 had not long come out.. still got it on my hard drive somewhere!

Though I really need to learn to delete stuff instead of just buying new and bigger HDs to hoard more stuff on!
