Hey Guys,

Firstly, huge apology for the downtime this week. It took me by surprise when I came home from work on Monday and my hosts certainly didn't help by not responding to me until Wednesday afternoon. Anyway, all is now resolved.

What happened was that the database queries were taking far too long to complete and seemed to be getting longer with every query, as a result the strain put on the server was quite a lot and my hosts shut the TKZ database down. The queries themselves were routine, everyday forum queries so they weren't the cause per se. That said, my hosts didn't seem too interested in finding the actual source of the problem and simply asked me to disable the "longest" query. So I removed the query, it won't affect you guys whatsoever, and also ran a few optimization routines on the larger tables. Hopefully that'll clear everything up for now, it's just a shame  they didn't have the logs to help me discover the true cause (or if it was TKZ's fault at all).

If it happens again we may be in a spot of bother, probably be forced to move hosts which would require some lengthy downtime considering I'm now working fulltime, but I think we'll be fine.

So apologies once again for the downtime, but at least it gave us all the chance to rediscover Mystic Software!

Thanks,
Xavier.

I guess that’s what happened...
Yes its good that its back.
