trying to gather up all the wavs and midis for my game so i dont have to worry about them later, but im just wondering about creating your own sound effects.....as in, how? maybe a wav maker?

(im trying to have them in .wav format)

Hmmm. Well I remember Xorlak saying how to rip sounds form games, but also if you have a microphone *that works* for you computer then you can record sounds. But I supose they won't sound any good...Unless you do it profeconaily, or something...

YOu could go to www.threechords.com/hammerhead/.Also look under useful apps & util. on the site.  I got a bunch of KEWL stuff from there.  good drum sequencer, wav maker, etc.  Enjoy!!!
