Just to keep everyone up to date on MS. Here's a comparison of the old server with the current one, as well as some new features that will benefit both the staff, and the users.
__________________________
STATS:
__________________________
Filespace:
Old Server: 6,000MB
New Server: 10,000MB
Bandwidth:
Old Server: 100GB/month
New Server: 200GB/month
Available Domains:
Old Server: 2
New Server: 3
Cost:
Old Server: $16/month
New Server: $15/month
___________________________

For those with web or email accounts, you may now use the domain name "rpgtoolkit.net" as an alternative to "mysticsoftware.net". If you would like an rpgtoolkit.net sub-domain or email address, please contact me via PM, and I'll set it up for you ASAP. Also, the new server supports FTP quotas, which makes it much easier for us to monitor how much space is being used by user accounts, as it prevents a user from uploading more than his/her quota (currently 25MB).

I've also updated the hosting page to provide more information on exactly what you receive when you sign up for hosting at Mystic Software, including PHP and MySQL support, multiple domain names, email addresses, and more.

How come I never noticed that www.rpgtoolkit.net has a backup of the old site!?

Kudos on the server transfer. Looks like a good deal.

Probably because it didn't until a couple days ago Razz . I had originally planned on putting the backup on TKZ using my Uber account, but then Vampz changed the domain hosting policy, and I only had 2 slots on my account at the old server for domain names, which were used up by this one and godivaalpha.com. The current one can have up to 15 domain pointers though, and you can assign FTP, email addresses, and sub-domains to the domain pointers, which essentially makes them actual domains.
