As I'm sure many of you are aware, Pope John Paul died today on Sunday, April 3rd, 2005. I would like for all members of these forums to speak out in response to his death.

As for mine:

"Pope John Paul II had a good run. Despite his late health problems, he made the most out of what life he had. Everyone who met him loved him, and for good reason, as he deeply loved all of us. Even by non-catholics like me, he will be remembered as one of the greatest religious leaders of all time, if not THE greatest. Farewell."

You were born in the land of Warrior Pride. You live to fight, you have a strong spirit, courage and bravery. Strong lord! Unsheath thy sword, rush into war and strip the enemy of his flesh down to the core.

Accually, I think he died on the second, but okay. Anyways, I'm not Catholic either, but I will also mourn his death.

Here's what I can speak out:

We had sirens, church bells, national dirge until burrial, polish internet portals are in greyscale, we were forced to pray on today's religion lesson, I had holy moss in memory of pope today instead of 2 lessons at school, and we are going to watch transmission from burrial in school when it happens.

I'm tired already.

This is probally the 27 time I've been told this, but since you said "As I'm sure many of you are aware" that makes not annoying.

Anyways, yes, it is a sad time. Rest is peace, John Paul, rest in peace. -_-
