Aminaga, your an idiot if you think the members of the TK Army actually hate the TKZ and think of Vampz as "evil". The majority of them post quite often at the TKZ forums. Yes, there were quite a few people pissed off about the switch to PHP back in the day, before you were even a part of the community, but Vampz is absolutely right, they suit larger communities far better than threaded. The entire TK Army concept was created, and exists, as a joke; nothing more. Just because you have a special logo in your signature doesn't make you any more special than anyone else in either community.
if you stay here all the time without ever going to the tkz at least once in a while, you are definetly NOT part of the community, since you are not taking part in defining the user culture which inevitably guides the tk's development and survival.
I fail to see how a good portion of the TK community guides the TK's development or survival. This website and it's users are just as much a part of the TK community as any other part. MS hosts a good deal of resources, games, and websites that help make up the TK community, including the homes of some of the most critically acclaimed TK games ever created.
overwhelming majority of tk users never visit these forums
Just as an overwhelming majority did not visit TKZ's forums before it became the official website as well. Rpgtoolkit.com was far less "advanced" as Mystic Software. The only reason it got as much traffic as it did was because it was the original, and the official website. Becoming the official site is overwhelmingly the reason why TKZ is as large as it is today. I'm willing to bet that Vampz wouldn't work quite as hard as he does if rpgtoolkit.com still existed in it's original state today, and TKZ was still merely a resource site.
that is why i think it would help a lot if all but the game makers's boards and the one site admin board were removed.
This website is not about to turn into a TKZ portal. It's perfectly capable of being a more influential part of the TK community; it merely needs a dedicated webmaster who's willing to sacrifice more of his time than I am.
TKZ doesn't even have an OT forum
Well, it's not exactly fair to put it that way Razz
MS was a great inspiration in making TKZ when Triuken was effectively running it (he eventually came to TKZ)
Wow, I'm surprised you actually supported that statement. I was about to disagree with him...
Mind you, I still hate MS for giving us Penguin
I'll trade you a couple of our other users to have him back Razz
