I'm not sure a trans2 would work from a different powerhouse version.  I think they have different serial numbers.  Just disable your virus protection while you install the file.

DMM:  Not sure about the animations.  That's the version I use and they work fine for me.  What exactly happens?  (An error message?, nothing?, etc.)

An error in message. Therefore, it dosen't happen.

Try opening up an animation, re-saving it, then seeing if it'll play in-game or in the program editor.

I tried it in that program test thingy, but I don't remember trying it in the real game. Maybe I should.

 Tried. Didn't work. But, the trans2 from DA2 seemed to work fine. The only thing is, I'm unsure about whether it would work for distributing the game.
