Anyone that's seen some of the latest games that have come out for the TK have probably been pretty damn amazed at some of the stuff people have accomplished in the last year. Games like DA2, Heraldry:Freija, and TK Land look simply amazing.
RDemusX's game "Mansions of the Moon" was released just this week, and even though it's a mere 2 boards, with absolutely nothing to do on them, it's a must to download regardless. After installing MotM, and getting past the title screen, just the first board alone caught my attention. The board loaded up, and right off the bat the character was in an idle animation. Unfortunately right now the idle animation in MotM only works if your facing south, but I'm sure RDemus will change that in the future. It'd also be nice if the animation wasn't the character walking in place, but would be better if the character was looking around or something. Anyways, that aside, once I started walking around, I was blown away. I could not tell this was the Toolkit other than the fact that I had already known. The graphics are absolutely amazing. The use of TK3's canvas system is noticable right off the bat when you walk under the trees, and the best part was, not even 1% of slowdown. Granted, my computer's not the slowest computer in the world, but it's by no means the fastest either. It was reportedly getting ~93fps average, and held there without barely moving a fraction of a percent. The menu system is also extremely well done, and unlike any menu system I've ever seen in a TK game.
Anyways, I seriously recommend checking this game out, even if you don't normally play TK games. It's incredibly short, since there are only two boards, but just fun to see how far the TK has come since we used 2.x
