Well, I guess there is a possibility then, though I still doubt it. I'm betting square is too focused on making psp games to remake anything...

That's like saying Nintendo was too focused on MAKING DS games to remake anything...and look what they did with Super Mario 64, lol.

All of the final fantasies have had releases on the playstation 1 and 2

If they were to release it on anything it would be PSP

They're not going to release Final Fantasy 12 on the Gamecube are they?

think about it.

(I could've sworn this topic was about Ken getting robbed, guess I was wrong)

Good point. But still, Square HAS made games for Nintendo lately...FF1/2 Dawn of Souls for GBA, FF3 for DS, and the Crystal Chronicles games. I wouldn't be surprised if FF7 or a spinoff was released.

There's been talk of FFXII being released on the XBox, but there probably won't be any FFVII remakes on any Nintendo hardware. Square-Enix would reach more of the fanbase on the PS2. Square-Enix owns the rights to the FF name, and therefore, the rights to FFVII-IX

As long as they re-release one FF game on the DS, I guess I can't really complain Sad
