Hey, check this out.  There's this program out there for the web called PHP-Nuke.  It's a HUGE php CMS.  Matt or whoever should check it out.  I can program it too!  I just gotta do a little work with themes, and i'm set!  php-nuke is teh future of cms's.  There is even an Invision Board Port being worked on, so that you can combine php-nuke and invision board.  w00t!!!  I'm so excited about all the new things.  if you happen to go to my site, that's an excelent example of php-nuke.  I even have LIVE chat.  it's sweet!  Also, if you register, you get access to my forums, along with a vast expanse of MP3's and all sorts of awesome things.  The security is also improved.  using Nuke Sentinel, you are protected from just about everything.  It's awesome.  Plus, there are several hundred themes avialable for php-nuke.  My site has, i think, 20 or so themes installed.  it truly owns the php world.  check it out though, admins, and see what u think.  if you want, i could hook ya up  Wink

thx so much for readin this huge post

i've known of it, it's nice, but it basically brings into the cookie-cutter era of web-portals....not needed

\"People who sin say this: That they had to, to survive. People who sin say this: That it\'s too late to stop. The shadow called Sin dogs them steadily without saying a word. Remorse and Agony are repeated, to finally end up at Despair. But sinners don\'t know that if they turn around, there is a light.... a light which keeps shining on them ever so warmly.\" - Vash the Stampede - Trigun

\"There\'s a heaven on earth that so few ever find, though the map\'s in your soul and the road\'s in your mind. So many mountains before us, so many rivers to cross, where is the wisdom to bring back the vision we\'ve lost? Can we gaze with the wonder of children into the deafening night? Has it gotten so dark that you cannot remember the light?\" - D. Fogelburg

It's loaded with more than you actually need.  Which is a bad thing in terms of efficiency...  It tends to suck up more resources/space than you really should be using, as a matter of fact I remember a lot of free hosts actually banned PHP Nuke from being used because of this.  (Like virtualave and hypermart when they were free)

That is true, but for purposes of showing off to large companies and other groups that use it, it works fine.  My servers handle it beautifully, and I do use everything on it.  If I feel the need, i can just drop an entire module to save space.  I can do whatever I want to it because I can program it.  The good people at NukeCode and NukeScriptsNetwork (NSN) have made some awesome things to use with php-nuke and to modify the system.
