Wait a second. I heard that MS came before TKZ. How could TKZ have to do with MS' existence? Or, am I worng, and TKZ came first? I'm confused.  :wacko:

Matt just said MS probably has a lot more to do with TKZs existance than the other way around.

And MS has been around quite awile longer then TKZ.

That's not true at all, TKZ doesn't even have an OT forum. But there are some jackasses, mostly non-TK users who stick around for nothing but forums. The Toolkit is popular, it gets lots of new users, get over it. Most of the newer members who stick around make good games as opposed to do nothing but post like the majority of members.

And yes, MS came first about three months before TKZ in 2000 (or late 1999). TKZ was around for about 18 months then I closed it down, then re-emerged in December 2003. MS was a great inspiration in making TKZ when Triuken was effectively running it (he eventually came to TKZ), unfortunately MS has gone a bit stale over the years although with TKZ being the big daddy now it did force MS to overhaul the site with PHP and whatnot, making it much better.

Mind you, I still hate MS for giving us Penguin (aka Cesque). Razz

Yes, that's a good point Vampz. And MS dose have some people who are just here because of the fourms, yet those people aren't really jack asses. Yet some people who do make games tend to be jackasses, most of them are noobs, and they only hate people because they don't worship there games *cough*vlademir*cough*.

However, I am with Dipshit on likeing MS because it has less people. It's better because you know everybody and such. I just like a fourm with not to many members but not to little.

 DMM is shorter than Aminaga and everyone knows who we're talking about. There's no "short" version of Aminaga that we can use, so we go with DMM.
