Why not? I say go ahead. Even if you get bored with him you can always just kill him off. Hardly any characters have died lately.

It's up to you, but i really think you've got enough going on with Haraldur and Tesla, you know, revolution-wise...

I swear I did NOT look him up on Wikipedia.

Indeed. He fought the Germans, the Austrians the Whites and the Bolsheviks. The movement in Ukraine was only destroyed when the Bolshevik Red Army had beaten the Whites and could focus on the Anarchists. This, along with Kronstadt, Spain, Hungary etc., is one of the reasons why Anarchists generally distrust Leninists of all kinds, whether they follow Stalin, Trotsky or any other Leninist.

Okay, the only thing worse than communists in a medieval themed RP is the Kool-Aid man, so I'm going to have to deny that one, TKGB. (Heh...)

Here comes another nation...

Name: Kronos

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 35

Job: Marshal of the Kandarinian Souvereignity

Weapon: Massive, massive amounts of Necromancer magic

Alliance: Kandarinian Souvereignity

Description: Average height, short black hair, black armour covering his entire body except for the head. The armour is made to resemble a scorpion's carapace - short wide scales overlapping each other. This grants the armour exceptional flexibility. It (the armour) also has two shoulder plates, each with the Kandarinian symbol on it - a stylized eagle (insert darkElite's "Death of Originality" post here - "Borrowed" from Quake 4, crappily redrawn, adapted and posted). He has a black band on his head with five red feathers standing up on it - a symbol of monarchy in Kandarin.

Bio: Kronos is the leader of the enigmatic empire known only as the Kandarinian Souvereignity, which is located on a series of islands near the Crimson Continent. He accepts no disobedience nor free voice. His (and subsequently, his empire's) goal is to... *drum roll* take over the Crimson Continent!

My thanks to D. Ein for telling me about this.

Name: Alexander (no surname)

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 27

Job: Mercenary

Weapon: A razor-sharp scimitar made from an extremely rare unknown metal, very durable.

Alliance: No defined affiliation

Description: About 6' 2", black hair and blue eyes. Standard casual attire is a worn leather jacket and a pair of blue flares. When in a combat situation, he typically sports a crudely made, but durable, suit of armor made from a cyan-tinged metal that rarely fails him in battle. The armor as well as his jacket bears a questionable emblem, two curves which merge to form a spiral, one white, one purple, on a gradient background from blue to a cobalt color. It is unsure except to Alex as to what this emblem actually means.

Bio: Alex was raised by a wise old mage who found him when he was still an infant. Since there are no records of who his parents were, Alex has no surname. Being raised by a mage, Alex was schooled in the ways of battle magic while he was a boy. Because of this, Alex can defend himself even if he is stripped of weaponry or protection. Unfortunately, the mage that raised him has passed on to the next world from old age. Now, Alex makes a living by hiring himself out to whoever is willing to pay the most money to win a battle.

For those unsure of what that emblem looks like, here's a picture of it:

The RP has started and I can't find anyway to have my char into play.

One reason is because I don't know what's going on really.

Yeah, I understand it's kinda hard to just jump in.

There was recently a huge battle between the Crimson and Grey Empires, which ended abruptly when a freak spell threw Draven, the ruler of the Crimson Empire, and several of his elites into another dimension. Now Melkoth, the leader of the Grey Empire is taking over the weakened lands of the Crimson Empire with his high generals Vincent (a Crimson Empire traitor and alchemist), Quintus (an old prophet guy), and Abodahon (big evil demon). The Greys are largely successful in the western parts of the Dark Continent (the main continent of the Crimson Empire, a.k.a. the Crimson Continent).

On the other side of the world, Allen (talented Crimson Empire alchemist) and Aura (Crimson Empire Lieutenant) have been drawn the island of Romme (the focal point of chapters 1-3) by some strange stone...

Then you have Haraldur and his posse out there trying to take over the eastern parts of the Crimson Empire with communist propaganda or something. (Heh...)

And there's a couple of other minor stories going on as well.

My suggestion would be to create your own little town, castle, etc, somewhere far away and have your character hang out there doing mundane things (or not, there's always NPC battling!) for a couple of days while you read the current posts and get a sense of what's going on. Then when you feel confident and feel you have a handle on things, go out there and have your character interact.

Dark Spartan: Looks great. Welcome aboard!
